We had been travelling for 6 weeks and I can safely tell you this was the oddest experience... We booked directly with the owner and within a few hours we had received an email requesting that I do them a favour. We stayed at Mountain Thyme B&B for four nights while we were in Banff for a skiing holiday. The bedroom we had was lovely. There was a shared bathroom (which we had to ourselves as the other room was empty) which was spotlessly clean. There was a TV and DVD player in the room and DVDs to borrow. This was... more

this is a lovely wee b&b, the owners are really friendly, welcoming and were a fountain of knowledge! The rooms are kitted out with quality furniture and the breakfasts were fantastically healthy. I would strongly recommend this place to anyone wanting a friendly b&b in banff. more
