It was a wonderful experience. The owners were really nice; they suggested us wonderfull places to visit. The room was very cosy and clean. They care about any detail in it. The breakfast was more than excellent. Top quality! We highly recommend it. more

I stayed at Banff Mountain Thyme B&B on my last hiking trip July 5-9, 2008. There are 2 rooms at the B&B, one with a private bath and one with an ensuite. The rooms are newly and tastefully done: comfortable queen beds, nice linens, small TV and good reading lights. The private bathroom is large with a jet tub (good... more

1)This B&B is less than 100 yards from a busy train track and as the trains pass over two local roads they blow their whistles three times at each road, this went on all night hourly, The owners have placed in each room ear plugs. 2) The room was very very small so we were forced to leave the window... more

After one night in Calgary, we decided to leave for Banff where we booked our first B&B. Excited we arrived at Banff Moutain Thyme: immediately a nice welcome. Inside very homely with a smell of herbs. A cosy living/dining room and a romantic bedroom with a very clean bathroom. Little soaps, water and information about the enviroment in the room.... more

Six of us spent 3 nights at this lovely B&B at the beginning of our Rockies tour. All rooms and facilities were excellent, breakfasts were great and Keith's home made bread was one of the best we've tasted. Keith and Lisa were great hosts and recommended places to eat, sights to see etc. The really lovely thing is that all... more

We stayed at this B&B for 3 nights with our 3 kids. The location was great, close to the ski hills Norquay & Sunshine as well as the shops in Banff itself. The rooms and bathroom were clean and provided ample space for us. The decor of the rooms had unique local art works. The living room furniture was modern... more

We had been travelling for 6 weeks and I can safely tell you this was the oddest experience... We booked directly with the owner and within a few hours we had received an email requesting that I do them a favour. We arrived admittedly a day later than planned (but had phoned to inform them) and within 5 minutes of... more

We stayed at Mountain Thyme B&B for four nights while we were in Banff for a skiing holiday. The bedroom we had was lovely. There was a shared bathroom (which we had to ourselves as the other room was empty) which was spotlessly clean. There was a TV and DVD player in the room and DVDs to borrow. This was... more

this is a lovely wee b&b, the owners are really friendly, welcoming and were a fountain of knowledge! The rooms are kitted out with quality furniture and the breakfasts were fantastically healthy. I would strongly recommend this place to anyone wanting a friendly b&b in banff. more
