My husband, myself & my two teenage sons stayed with James & Therese for 10 nights recently. The Buffaloberry B& B was spotless & their attention to detail in decoration and facilities of their rooms was flawless. We had a different gourmet breakfast everyday ,but that was not the best part - the best part was James & Therese were... more

We stayed at the Buffaloberry for 3 nights in late September, one of which was our anniversary, and found it a wonderful, comfortable establishment, with friendly, helpful hosts. Context: Banff is a small town but highly populated with tourists, in the middle of the Canadian Rockies. There are many hotels, motels, etc. to choose from, many of them on busy... more

With the Buffaloberry there is simply no need to stay in a hotel in Banff again! With our wedding at the Banff Springs, we chose to stay with Theresa and James, and also had our family join us for part of the vacation. Our hosts made the stay and our wedding experience all the more special, and couldn't do enough... more

My husband and I just returned from an off-season R&R vacation in Banff. We arrived very late our first night but were warmly welcomed by James and Theresa nonetheless. They stayed up to greet us and give us the tour and information of the house. We were pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness and wonderful modern decorating of both our room... more

We just returned home from a Canadian Rockies vacation. We spent the first night of our vacation and the last day of our vacation at Buffaloberry. We wanted somewhere on route to Jasper National Park. And then back closer to the airport. Buffaloberry fit the bill. Teresa and James were great!!! They were very helpful in several areas. We stayed... more

Buffaloberry is a nice place to stay if you are in Banff, but it is not the best in town, especially for the price. The accommodations were clean and up-to-date. Breakfast was a family-style affair, and the food was tasty. The B&B is relatively new construction. The inn was billed as an historic building. Actually, they completely remodeled the building... more

We understand that you cannot please everyone all of the time, although from this review I would question some of the facts that the reviewer has noted. First off, the Buffaloberry has never been billed as a historical house. The building is not even three years old, hardly making this a historical house! This brings me to the second point...

"Best B&B in the world!" Better than home! This luxury B&B was a great find! James & Theresa couldn't have been more welcoming and helpful. Theresa has a flair for interior design which makes the whole house a wonderful place in which to relax and unwind after a day out travelling, hiking and exploring the Rockies. The bedroom was extremely... more

My husband and I spent two nights at the Buffaloberry on our way to Jasper and we were not disappointed. The owners, Theresa and James were very welcoming and our bedroom was extremely well appointed and spotless (we stayed in the "Wheat and Chaffe" room). The Buffaloberry is more akin to a boutique hotel rather than a B&B and the... more

We have just returned from a five day stay in Banff, Canada, at the Buffaloberry Bed and Breakfast. It was by far the best accommodations we have experienced in a number of travels this year, and we are picky. The owners designed and built this beautiful property and thought of every detail in doing so. The rooms are spacious, spotless,... more

Ditto to all the other excellent reviews. Buffaloberry is a lovely, easy, inviting, convenient place to stay in Banff. The B&B owners, James and Theresa made us feel totally welcome yet left us to come and go, settle in, and relax throughout our stay. They are knowledgeable about the area and offered excellent advice. Breakfasts were very good and the... more
