The room is what you'd expect from a hotel not a hostel - so initially we were thrilled. Beautiful living areas and internet area and a good kitchen with excellent cold room crate system which was cleverly designed to deal with a lot of visitors. The staff were lovely so no complaints there! There is a bar and cafe on... more

Stayed here on a recent trip to the Canadian Rockies - overall good price for what you get, pretty standard Hostel, most rooms in main building are 2 bunks to a room with bathrooms and showers down the hall. Biggest negative is the access doors at end of halls - they require a key card which is good as it... more

We arrived and was told our booking had been made for August the month before we got there. So not a great start. But after saying we had rung the main booking office, they sorted us out with what we had originally booked. A private room in the new building for our party of 6 people with bathroom. Shared shower... more

Great Mountain location, 15 minute walk downhill to Banff. Cafe onsite provides good meals at good prices. There is also a pub with various entertainment. There are various walking trails from the hostel. My room was ok, although noisy, there are lots of young travellers here, and the carpet behind the bed needed a good vacum! The bathroom was spacious... more

I stayed at a lot of Hostels during my vacations but this was the worst. Me and my boyfriend had a private double room, it was so small we could just take our clothes for the next day from the car into the room, our luggage was too big. The bed was so small my boyfriend didn´t even fit in... more

We booked two nights here over the Easter Long Weekend. Arrived and the guy at check in was very nice. It all went downhill from there. The bathrooms were filthy, we were put in a bigger dorm then we had paid and booked for. Decided to stick it out but at around 3am on our first night, it become unbearable.... more

Having just left HI Lake Louise I was expecting great things. My reservation was a problem however, and I ended up having to pay more for my week's stay as I wanted a private room. The room was ok and it had more cupboards than HI Lake Louise and even had a fan but it was next door to the... more

We were travelling from Revelstoke to Jasper and wanted to break the ride in two and this was the perfect spot. We had a private family room that slept 5. Two downstairs and 3 upstairs. Building had a commons kitchen and 6 showers on our floor. We shared one toilet in the alcove with the family next door. We all... more
