From the moment we arrived we felt special! Ashley, Harriet, and Amos were accomodating to all our needs. The food was incredible- we had an amazing omelet breakfast the first day with fresh herbs and a unique, fabulous banana bread french toast the second day. The location is only a few blocks to downtown, but far enough to be in... more

Rocky Mountain B&B provided convenient parking in a good Banff location. The staff were friendly and welcoming and had planned ahead for our possible late arrival. We enjoyed the home-cooked breakfasts and the attention to detail in presentation. Our room was clean and quiet. This new management appears to be taking the time and trouble to guarantee a pleasant stay... more

We stayed in room #10 over May Long Weekend, just a couple of weeks after the new manager arrived. We could not believe how amazing the breakfasts were for the price. The rooms were clean and the host was very accomodating in a location that is perfect for hiking and shopping. I saw a few negative reviews on this site... more

The Rocky Mountain B&B is very central (2 streets from Mainstreet), yet situated in a very calm street: the only noise you'll hear are the coffee machine in the morning and the birds singing in the trees! We had the opportunity to stay in 2 rooms: both were very well-equipped, with kitchenette (room 8) and even a full kitchen in... more

The location was good and the hostess/manager was friendly; other than that this place was a big disappointment. Surfaces in our room were not clean, minor repairs were required (e.g., crumbling plaster), towels were not replaced every day even though we requested them, and beds weren't made every day. We were present for four nights & mornings but were provided... more

We stayed for one night at this B&B. It had a great central location; just a few minutes easy walk to the centre, with a lot of restaurants and shops (great chocolate!). I read in an earlier review that it's not really a B&B, it is more of small hotel. I think that's right, it lacks the personal touch that... more

After a bad accomodation experience in Lake Louise we arrived in Banff at the tourist centre and I enquired about B&B accomodation. It was still low season but many were booked already. We were given this B&B name and it was within our budget so we checked it out. It was only a few minutes walk from downtown. We were... more

This place was a big disappointment, we had booked a room for ourselves and our 22 year old daughter discribed as, Walkout basement with private bathroom and kitchenett. The walk out door turned out to be through a very dark corridoor which was shared by other rooms, and the biggest complaint we had was the bathroom contained only a shower... more

This is a nice B&B for a reasonable price. It is a fairly large place with around 10 rooms, and staffed by "hired hands" rather than by the owner. This means that is lacks the "personal touch" that you may get in some smaller places, but the staff were friendly and professional. The breakfasts were excellent with a huge choice... more

Good budget accomodation. Room, linens and bath were very clean. While linens and tolietries were of lesser quality, everything needed was provided. Breakfasts were filling and view from breakfast room was a nice way to start the day. For those on a budget, this may work out well. more
