Just stayed for a long weekend with my husband, mom, and my two labrador dogs. I had never stayed in a pet friendly hotel before, so I wondered about the standards, but I was amazed! I stayed in a two bedroom cottage, the rooms were very spacious, the bathroom had lovely soaps, shampoo, conditioner, everything you find in a luxury... more

We had a wonderful week that even included our dog. The Chalets are private, quiet (other than the proximity to the busy rail track) and comfortable. There are mountains to hike, trails to explore as well as Lake Louise and Banff nearby. The staff are welcoming and provide great service. It feels like home without the stesses of the city.... more

We spent our first anniversary at the Castle Mountain Chalets and were given a bottle of wine at check-in to toast the occassion. The desk/store staff were very friendly throughout our stay, but I did have to ask three times to get the gas card that was part of our deal. We booked only 2 weeks in advance, so we... more

From March 19 to 22, 2009 - our group of 10 decided we needed to getaway from the big city and just go for some rest and relaxation. Well we got it!!! Castle Mountain Chalets was located centrally between Banff and Lake Louise and we just like the idea of not being where hustle and bustle was. We did some... more

We had an amazing experience. This was our 3rd visit to the Chalets, but our first during winter. The site is so gorgeous in Winter (as in summer as well). When we arrived, knowing it was our 35th Anniversary the young man who checked us in brought us a bottle of wine. The service stayed the same during the four... more

Always stocked with wood for the fireplace, it's a great place to get away with your sweet heart. The cabins are kind of close together but it makes for a friendly atmosphere. Staff is fantastic, very helpful. The only thing I would advise is that you bring your own coffee (or buy it there, they have a little store with... more

We are from Ontario and needed a place to stay to ski Lake Louise and visit Banff and chose this Castle Mountain Chalet because of the price, features, and its pet friendly atmosphere. The staff accomodated our very late checkin which was appreciated. We stayed in chalet #14. Great kitchen, LCD tv, dishwasher, fridge, cutlery, couch, 2 rooms, bathroom, microwave,... more

The cozy cabin was clean and comfortable with great amenities: lots of hot water for showers after a day of skiing; kitchens with everything you need to cook a great meal; an ipod stereo; TV, DVD player, lots of hooks in the doorway to hang wet clothes. Great location for skiing, snowshoeing and hiking with access to Banff (15 minutes),... more

Perfect accommodation for a romantic weekend getaway. Approximately 20 minutes outside of Banff the roads were kept in immaculate condition and the scenery was breathtaking. Close enough to civilization if you want it and far enough away not to be aware of it. I would recommend this location to anyone - also kid and pet friendly. Staff are extremely friendly... more
