I had the opportunity to stay at the Castle Mountain Chalets for two nights, June 24 and 25. When I got the key to my cabin, I walked into the cabin and my first reaction was, it was so big and pretty. I had requested the deluxe one bedroom. I came with a huge bathroom with a jacuzzi tub and... More

Loved our cabin #3. It had a large wood fireplace, so cozy. Better still was the huge bathroom! And the best part ...they allow pets! Having our 2 dogs with us made the trip!! Kitchen had everything we needed. Can't think of one negative about our cabin. You are close to the train tracks but I actually liked hearing the... More

After many weeks of hotels (from 2 star to 5 star it was a real treat to stay at the castle Mountain Chalets. Great scenery, near Banff without being in town - go in via the parkway - and the appointments were much appreciated. A good strong shower, a full kitchen (we had a home cooked meal for the first... Thank you for staying with us! We are glad to hear you enjoyed your time here. I can only imagine what it's like eating for 5 weeks at restaurants. Sometimes there is nothing better than a home cooked meal. We are very happy to hear you were finally able to enjoy that. Wishing you the safest of travels. We hope... More

near the end of our first week of travel, the chalets were a great option, close enough to Banff for any restaurants or other amenities but quiet enough that if you felt like an evening in - which we did one of the nights - that was ok too. also having a kitchen gave us the luxury of leisurely breakfasts... Great to hear you enjoyed yourselves and were able to use the kitchen at your leisure. We definitely cater to the individual who wants to just sit back and relax. Our location and clientele (family friendly and nature lovers) we attract help to make this possible. Plus you aren't too far away from town to enjoy those added benefits. We... More

I'm a little late with writing this but I still feel that the Chalets deserve a review. We went here a few years ago for our anniversary, and came back for a second time for our anniversary. This time we brought our 3 little dogs, they set up our chalet pet friendly, with little bowls for them and little treats.... More

We always appreciate feedback from our guests, and thank you for coming back! Hopefully we will become an annual part of your anniversary :) I'm happy to hear we were able to accommodate your request for the same room you had before, at times this is not possible but we do try our best. Sincerely, More

My husband and I (and our dog) stayed in the one bedroom deluxe cabin, and it was absolutely fantastic! The cabin was very clean and well-cared for. The kitchen was stocked with everything we could possibly need (measuring cups, mixing bowl, graters, etc.) and all items looked brand new! The staff was very accommodating, replenishing items as needed, on request.... More

Thank you for your review. We appreciate that you enjoyed yourselves and are happy to be a place that you can bring your dog. We are proud to be one of very few places that offers about 90% of our cabins as pet friendly. Please let us know next time that you would prefer a less plump pillow, as we... More

We walked into our deluxe one bedroom cabin (#10), took one look around, and knew we were cancelling our next hotel so we could stay here as long as possible. Our cabin faced the back of the main office/store/manager's home, with a gazebo with gas grill off to the right (see photos). We had a picnic table out front and... More

I want to thank you once again for being great hosts the night I met you( haha....inside joke)! You've proved to me that your customer service skills are excellent, so if it makes it easier I'll hire you and you can just permanently live here. Hopefully we will get to see you both out here again! Ghada More

This is a nice, quiet place to stay. It was nice being out of banff or lake Louise but you have to make sure you have most of your groceries when you get there, there is a store that has some things, but not too much. The cabin we stayed in, Pine, I think was a little dated, the kitchen... More

Thank you for staying with us. Some of our cabins are more rustic than others, however we do pride ourselves in ensuring your accommodations are clean and comfortable. The Pine Chalet is one of our smaller units and the furnace is located directly on the outside wall of the unit close to the bed. As we need to keep the... More

This is an excellent place to stay out of Banff. It is located exactly between Banff and Lake Louise. It is composed by a group of individual chalets. We stayed in a chalet with three suites. These chalets are extremely cute! I love that they were off the beaten path, as opposed to staying right in Banff or Canmore. We stayed in a one-bedroom no-pets suite, it is one of three similar suites that are located on top of the games room/pool/gym (all other suites seem to be in their own private detached cabins). It was... More

Dear Guest, Thank you for your feedback. It's nice to see that you had many "pros" with those that we can control (staff friendliness, cleanliness of cabins, amenities in general store). The pricing of our general store items are higher than that in a city, as it is hard to find suppliers to deliver out here. Because we are more... More
