Have stayed here several times and I've loved it every time. Its a quiet clean out of the way little place. Very relaxing. Nothing fancy but does cover all your needs. Will stay here again. Every time i've stayed here i've had a room on ground floor with parking outside of the room. Was very handy for carrying in our... More

The last two reviewers were quite polite and discreet, I chose otherwise. This is an older motel, cheaply built with few improvements. Firstly, when observing the pile of 6 white towels, one can clearly see that one is discoloroured. Upon opening it a stain is visible. I left it on top of the chipped toilet tank cover hoping the cleaning... More

Thank you for your honest feedback. Bumpers Inn is indeed one of the older motel type properties in town located in a quiet and secluded part of town. This means the location in general is far quieter than some other downtown locations. Parking is complimentary and very convenient; in most cases directly outside your guest room door. We do also... Bumpers is at the end of the motel strip. It hides behind a large, empty parking lot and non-functioning restaurant, surrounded by pine trees. Probably among the least fancy motels, it is none the less functional and (relatvely) inexpensive and quiet. The rooms are basically painted concrete block and sheetrock. The water is hot, the bathroom is clean and the... More

I stayed here one night and it was worth it. the place was clean, and I enjoyed the door out to the courtyard. the location is reasonably central, and while there is no pool, I got free access to the pool across the street. for what I paid, the fridge more than made up for a lack of continental breakfast.... The staff is friendly, rooms and toilets are clean room spacious and cozy, there is a garden where most of the rooms point to so it's very quiet. I didn't like the fact there is no breakfast but there are many other hotels around that offer this option for you. For the price it's a good deal.

This motel was very reasonably priced and is now a subsidiary of the Inns of Banff group. We came for a quiet retreat and found exactly what we needed! Our main door looked out into a forest and the other door/window led to a very pleasant treed, benched, central court! It was a quiet place, except for a few trains,... More

Thank you for your kind comments. I am glad to hear you enjoyed the secluded location of the inn and had a restful stay with us. The hotel is now under new management and patrons of Bumpers are able to use the many facilities at some of the other hotels in town at no additional charge. These facilities include swimming... At first sight this Inn didn't seem like much. But even though the rooms are older, they are well equipped, clean and the beds were super comfy. It is on the outskirt of town, so you do avoid the noise of a busy town. Walking to supermarkets, eateries or to sights in town still achievable. We loved staying here with... More

We booked bumpers for a ski weekend on short notice as it was the cheapest available room at the time in Banff. The hotel shows a bit of age but that's why your not paying the big bucks. We booked a pet friendly room so we could bring our Yorkie along and were plesently surprised to find a dog bed... More

I just spent the night at bumpers inn, it was clean, the bed was comfy, and it had everything we need to enjoy a beautiful day in banff. The staff was friendly and helpful, over all great value. I'd recommend this to anyone on a budget looking to stay in a cozy spot away from all the noise.

Good clean little room. Quiet, great mattress and pillows, very comfortable. The Inn was at the end of the Banff strip, which probably kept it quiet. Eligible to use the hot tub at Inns of Banff, had a super stay there!
