My wife and I stayed here for a night prior to a day of skiing. We have stayed at a bunch of hotels in Banff and we're happy to find this Gem. The hotel is located outside of the city but closer to the city and Sunshine than the Rimrock. Check in was a breeze with Jackie being so friendly... More

Stayed here for 2 days.. It is a short drive from Banff, which was nice because it was very busy in town during Easter.. Nice views of town and nearby Vermilion lakes, if you get a mountain view room, and the outdoor hot tub sure felt amazing after a long cold day (it snowed most of the time we we're... More

Been to the Juniper quite a few times over the years, and this time was as good as ever. Nice location away from downtown (free taxi vouchers available), always plenty of wildlife around, best patio view in Banff!, excellent healthy breakfast. The staff are all very friendly and helpful. Our room was very clean and well kept, sporting newer mattresses... More

This was our first time in Banff. Well, I don't know where to start. The hotel room we had was absolutely fantastic. We had a to die for view! The Banff Springs Hotel, the town itself and mountains in every direction, with Mount Rundle directly in front of you. The fireplace in our room was so nice to snuggle up... More

Not pressed by the paper thin and dirty walls. There were marks and spots where things had been splashed or slopped on walls that wasnt wiped up. We had planned an early morning for a sunrise hike with our dog but our room was sown the hallway to the restaurant and it sounded as though the people walking down the... More

Our room was nothing like the pictures. Thought this was one of the nicest places in banff to stay, I'll never stay, nor recommend this place again. Our room was tiny, felt there was no space, old furniture, discusting old pillows and chairs. I normally don't complain about the wall art or the decor, but this time it all adds... More

I have stayed at the Juniper 4 times now dating back to when it was still the Timberline. It is always a quiet, peaceful place to stay with quick access to the highway. I got to sunshine village in around 10 minutes right from the hotel parking lot. Travelling solo, the hotel gave me a very good rate and a... More

We originally rented a two bedroom suite at the hotel. I was not impressed. very little room for us. Some people would find it was ok. Problem was no fridge , main bed in room next to bathroom. The other bedroom had two beds for the kids, but they have to walk out in middle of the night to cut through... More

Feb 26-Mar 1/15 My partner and i chose to stay here for our 5 years. We have stayed in the past and absolutely loved it, 1 because of the view, and 2 because of the outdoor hot tub. The room we stayed in in the past was super nice too. Unfortunately, this time, we had to bring our cat because... More

Thank you for taking the time to review us, Nicole. Please accept our apologies for your disappointment with the hot tub. It was indeed refurbished several weeks ago, but deep cleaning and regular upkeep can sometimes require a temporary closure. We are sorry that it occurred during your stay, took slightly longer than expected, and that the hot spring passes... More
