This hotel has become popular for weddings. We stayed here on a Thursday night and dined in the restaurant that night. A wedding was scheduled for the next day and the guests were partying in the restaurant and bar. They were still partying when we left the restaurant at 10:30 pm. Fortunately, we had been warned of this problem by... more

I stayed 3 nights at this hotel at the end of June. Very lucky to be able to secure a room with a view since it was Canada Day long weekend. Juniper Hotel is located right off the highway. I like the fact that the hotel is located far enough from the crowd, yet close enough to downdown just in... more

Firstly may I give a warning to anyone planning to stay here on a weekend that you check to see if there is a wedding going on at the hotel. We stayed on the Saturday and Sunday night at the Juniper and experienced noise problems on both nights. We had been on a 6 hour hike in Lake Louise on... more

Arrived in Bannff and drove right past the Juniper, not expecting it to be right at the side of the highway!!! After turning around and getting to the hotel we were met by friendly staff and the place looked smart and had obviously had a lot of money spent on it, giving it a modern 'boutique hotel' look. However when... more

Spending one night in Banff after the 2-day Rocky Mountaineer trip, I wanted somewhere peaceful and selected this hotel after reading other tripadvisor reviews. Less than 4 minutes by taxi from the station and a pleasant walk to the centre of town, it is situated in a quiet wooded corner on the 'other' side of the highway. The second floor... more

We had a really nice experience staying at this hotel. There were 5 of us in our late 30's looking for a reasonably priced hotel where we could use it as a good base location to ski the local mountains. Our two objectives were clean and price. This place was exactly that and much more. The staff was extremely nice... more

That was a girls weekend out, we all love this very trendy hotel, the service and the view was awesome, located among all the trees and by the mountains, so a bit far from all other hotels, a bit long walk to Banff town center, very nicely designed and use of every inch of space, considering it was build in... more

Stayed here at the beginning of October 2007. It was "off season" so the town of Banff was pretty quiet - the hotel is about a five minute drive to town. I enjoyed the privacy of the room - ours had hardwood floors (one of the "pet approved" rooms). The bathrooms are all slate with boutique quality toilettries. The beds... more

I stayed here for several nights at the beginning of summer. The property was re-renovated inside out and the pictures posted on the web persuaded me to give it a try. First of all, if you don't drive, I suggest a hotel that is closer to the main part of town. Juniper is tucked away at the side of the... more

The hotel is away from the busy downtown traffic and noise. Our room was quite small (the bed took up the majority of the room) Great views of the mountains from our room and the restaurant. Muk a Muk has great food but i found was a little overpriced. The staff at the hotel were very friendly and were always... more
