Stayed at the driftwood after starting out at the caribou lodge. same company owns both. The room is nothing special but you are right in the center of town. After a day's hiking you can use the whirlpool at the hotel next door. Better value than Caribou Lodge more

On our arrival, our room was in need of some serious cleaning. In recompense, we were offered a complimentary breakfast, which was good. There is no air conditioning. The Driftwood Inn is well located, close to the shops and restaurants on Banff Ave. It is an old motel that requires maintenance.
