I stayed for 3 nights in September. Despite being charged over $200 and booking well in advance, I was given a terrible room on the ground floor. When I asked to move I was told it would cost another ~$130 a night...because they had a coach party in. I would describe the room as clean, functional and very plain -... More

This was the first stop on our Honeymoon in early august. Was worried about the reservations through Expedia, but the front desk was ready. I choose this hotel with help of this site. I would have love to spend the $$ for the Fairmont, but I figured I could get more for my dollar here. We stayed for 4 nights... More

We arrived at the Rundlestone Lodge expecting something spectacular (thanks to their website!), and whilst we weren't exactly disappointed, we weren't bowled over with excitement either! The staff were friendly and efficient, though after spending a lot of time in Canada's excellent B&B's it was extremely noticeable how unwilling the hotel staff were to "go the extra mile". I guess... More

Westayed for 1 night and had an excellent time. We were two couples with a small baby, and found the staff helpful, the pool lots of fun and fine for baby. The property was clean and the staff were attentive. The first room we were given had a problem with the bath, so we called the front desk who immediately... More

We went to Banff for our honeymoon from sept 15-20 and had an awesome stay at the Rundlestone. We stayed in the Jacuzzi Suite which i highly recommend to anybody. It was very roomy with the bedroom upstairs and a nice little kitchenette and living room downstairs, fireplace and balcony. The staff was overall friendly and helpful. The underground parking... I liked this hotel a lot; the rooms were spotless and very comfortable, and the staff were very accommodating with getting us extras such as a crib and kettle in the room, at no extra cost. The front desk staff also helped us to find find directions, provide information on local "hot spots" and were always cheerful when approached (which... More

This was a little more upscale than the other places we had stayed on our trip to Banff/ Jasper, and the hotel lived up to our hope to spend our last few days with a bit more luxury. Rooms were nice, clean, nicely decorated (typical, hotel room decor). We were on the ground floor, but it wasn't noisy from the... More

For the price this is a pretty good hotel. The lobby is nice looking and the front desk was very helpful with advice and adventure bookings. The rooms are clean and look exactly like the photo on the website. Bathrooms are nice with new bath/showers and granite counters (large) and tiled floors. Coffee in the room (nice touch), extra pillows... More

My wife and I arrived in Banff to be greeted by an Australian girl, Erin, on reception. She was very friendly and very helpful. This was just the thing we needed after a long journey to Banff. Check in was smooth and nothing seemed to much trouble. The hotel is within 10 minutes walking into Banff town center and we... More

We booked into the Rundlestone after spending over a week travelling in an RV where the basics where hard to come by. So the Rundelstone was perfect for a little pampering. The room was large with a twin tub jaccuzzi clean (but a little dated) robes/slippers were supplied. They have a nice pool area with a small sunbathing balcony. The... More
