Generally speaking we had a good time in the Rundlestone Lodge (our two bed-bedroom was clean and quiet), but it could have been better... For example there was no fridge and for what we got the room was too expensive!!! On our 4-week-tour through B.C. (staying in hotels, motels, B&Bs as well as hostels) THIS was the most expensive hotel... More

We appreciate the time taken to write a review of the Rundlestone Lodge and are glad to hear you had an enjoyable stay with us. The hotel recognises the demand for in-room fridges and this is something we are currently working toward. We do currently have a small number of fridges which are available to be put in guest rooms... More

My husband and I stayed for four nights in July. The hotel was easy to find being on the main street, but was not dead in the centre so was peaceful. It was a fifteen minute walk into the centre or there were complementary bicycles which we used once. The hot tub was a real bonus at the end of... More

We stayed in a room with a king bed downstairs and 2 twins upstairs. Great for a family. Our balcony opened onto Banff Ave and we could sit out there in the evening and watch people go by and enjoy the weather and scenery. Good resturant for breakfast. The hotel was far enough from the center of town that we... More

We stayed Sat-Sun in the middle of an 11-day Canadian vacation.....friendly staff, nice room (an upgrade), great location, convenient underground parking.....but sometime overnight Saturday, one of the two elevators became inoperative....then, when we went to do our planned mid-vacation laundry, we found one of the two washers also kaput! Either no one was available on the weekend, or they didn't... More

Great location, quiet, clean, helpful staff, convenient to the downtown area and tourist sites. Free bikes to borrow; my husband rode each morning. Wish breakfast or a mini-fridge had been included. Nevertheless we liked it so much that we extended our stay by two days. Our sightseeing was in Banff and north to Lake Louise and the Glacier Ice fields... More

Wife booked a romanic two level suite. Its only short comings were the very steep stairs to the second level, the fact that the coffee maker and sink was on the first floor and the frige and microwave were on the second floor, and there was no instructions on how to close the floor to ceiling black-out draperies or how... Upon arrival front desk staff were very pleasant. Our room was well appointed, as was the bathroom. There was also underground parking, which was a bonus. We had dinner and breakfast at the hotel and the food was excellent, both in presentation and taste, to the point that photographs were taken and emailed back to the UK!! The hotel itself... More

This is a nice hotel, within walking distance to downtown Banff but not in the main section of town. It was comfortable and clean. My daughters like using the computers in the lobby. There are bikes available to use to cycle into town.

Stayed here with a group of guys in a number of rooms and it was perfect for us. Great indoor heated parking with lockers for your skis, great hot tub where you can have a couple of drinks and watch the sun set. The breakfast in the hotel is excellent, perfect to load you up for a day of skiing.... More

We stayed at the Rundlestone only one night as we doubled back through Banff after a longer stay down the street at the Fox Hotel & Suites the previous week. With only a quick overnight at the Rundlestone, we didn't get to take full advantage of the property, but it was perfect for our short stay. The room was surprisingly... More
