This hotel is fine but it's one of the furthest from the centre of Banff so it's a long walk or a short car ride into town. It does have a restaurant but it's quite expensive so we didn't eat there, but there are plenty of alternatives nearby so that's not a problem. The wifi worked well and the pool... More

Rooms: We stayed in a loft suite for a week in July. The rooms are extremely spacious and they have some good views overlooking the mountains. The decor is a little tired and dated but you cannot fault the hotel for cleanliness. Location: The Rundlestone is located at the bottom end of Banff Avenue, away from the hustle and bustle... More

Not sure why this place gets a 4 star average review. I am really shocked. We stayed here in two rooms during 3 nights on either end of a longer trip. The beds were awful and I felt like they were below youth-hostel quality. The second room the bed was sloped so badly I had a hard time staying on... More

The Rundlestone Lodge is on the main street but it is a relatively long walk to downtown. My room was OK but a bit dark and old fashioned. The bed was VERY hard. The biggest problem is that essentially all of their queen rooms face an indoor swimming pool. The window doesn't open and there is no outside ventilation. The... More

The Rundlestone Lodge could do better with friendliness of staff and cleanliness. Especially, the staff at the reception isn't that nice. We felt like we are not the target group of the hotel...apart from that, they are charging security amounts in a nowhere else seen height of amount to the credit card! Got a "premium" room on the lower floor... More

Good Value in Banff. Nice hotel, location, and amenities. Staff not particularly friendly but they were professional and polite. Room was very spacious with an extremely comfortable King Size bed. Nice 40+" flat screen and free wi-fi. Nicely appointed bathroom in room. Slow but functional elevators. Good underground parking. All in all a great place in a great town in... More

In March 2011 we stayed at the Rundlestone Lodge Hotel, Banff, Canda. We stayed for 10 days and it was a snowboarding holiday. We really liked the hotel and there is nothing I can think of to say negative about the hotel, service or location. The staff at the hotel were extremely helpful and polite. Our twin room which was... More

Great hotel! We had a 2 BR suite for our two families, worked out great. Walking distance to downtown, great restaurant, underground parking, nice pool for the kids to use. Loved it!

Rundlestone was welcoming from the minute we walked through the door. It's a mountain lodge atmosphere situated on the main street of Banff, directly down the avenue from the main shopping and restaurant area. The room itself was very nice, clean and provided for all of our needs. In addition, the parking garage, hot tub, and swimming pool were definite... More

We spent three night at the Rundlestone and couldn't fault it. The staff were especially helpful. The restaurant (independantly managed) had rather formal decor, but otherwise very good. Although on the edge of Banff, it was a pleasant and fairly short walk into the centre of town.
