Great hotel! We had a 2 BR suite for our two families, worked out great. Walking distance to downtown, great restaurant, underground parking, nice pool for the kids to use. Loved it!

Rundlestone was welcoming from the minute we walked through the door. It's a mountain lodge atmosphere situated on the main street of Banff, directly down the avenue from the main shopping and restaurant area. The room itself was very nice, clean and provided for all of our needs. In addition, the parking garage, hot tub, and swimming pool were definite... More

We spent three night at the Rundlestone and couldn't fault it. The staff were especially helpful. The restaurant (independantly managed) had rather formal decor, but otherwise very good. Although on the edge of Banff, it was a pleasant and fairly short walk into the centre of town.

We stayed at the Rundlestone the last week in May 2011. Enjoyed everything about the place. The rooms were spacious and clean with comfortable beds, flat screen televisions. The place has free indoor parking, free wi-fi and a very good restaurant. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The location is good, just down the street from downtown which makes... More

Although not right downtown, it is a comfortable walking distance. We used the bikes at the lodge to go back and forth. We enjoyed our stay here very much. The lodge was very quiet at night which provided a good night's sleep. There is a restaurant on the premises but it is owned separately. We ate there 1 morning because... More

The lodge was very nice. However, our room overlooked the indoor pool, and it was very dark. I would recommend asking for a room with a balcony. It was not crowded, and I think we should have had a better room. Although the restaurant was more expensive than others in the area, the food was very good. The service was... More

Very nice hotel, but make sure that reception doesn't give you the rooms overlooking the indoor pool. Children are yelling, running, making bombs, the window cannot be opened so there is no fresh air and the rooms are very hot. The male receptionist refused to give us other rooms although we offered money for an upgrading. He said that the... More

I was visiting Banff solo)between visiting friends in Calgary and Vancouver) in the off-season (early/mid May) and spent two nights here. The hotel is a 10-15 minute walk from the town centre, where most of the good restaurants and bars are and the best shopping is, but the hotel is in a cluster of other hotels on the east side,... We were excited to stay here and had made a reservation based on the picture of the room on the hotel website. Big mistake. We booked a king fireplace jaccuzi room. Warning- If you stay here make specific requests regarding your room. We did not have a lovely cathedral ceiling in our room as seen in the website photo- it... More
