This was our second stay at the Rundlestone Lodge. Upon check-in, I asked if they had a room available with a king bed and was given an extremely small and noisy room overlooking the street. We immediately asked for a different room and were given a very quiet room on the first floor overlooking a parkette. Although dark, this room... more

The Rundlestone is a nice place to stay in Banff. It is on Banff Avenue the main road in the downtown area. It is at the en of the road so you do have a little walk to get to the shops and restaurants but it isn't that bad. The restaurant at the hotel Jack Pine is nice. They have... more

The rundlestone was ideal for our needs. The room was spacious and the kitchen functional. The hotel is well kept and clean. The pool and hot tub exceeded my expectations. The shallow end is very shallow, good for kids, not great for swimming laps. The hotel is on 'the strip' but not 'downtown' It would be a long walk but... more

Really loved this accomodation - rooms are roomy, clean, cool and very reasonably priced - location about 15 min walk from the centre but plenty of restaurants nearby (Chillis - The Keg) - enjoyed it so much after staying booked to come back and they kindly gave us the same room as requested just days later after visiting Jasper. Great... more

We travelled to the Rundlestone for a last-minute celebration of our 25th Anniversary. My husband found and booked the hotel initially thru Expedia, but our plans changed and we had to cancel and rebook. He did this directly through the hotel. We arrived late on Sunday nite, and checked in with the front desk. We were surprised to see that... more

My fiancée and I stayed here with friends the weekend of May 29th -31st 2009. We came to Banff this time to check out all the venues for our wedding. As we absolutely love Banff we have decided to be married here. We got the cheapest room that Rundle Stone Lodge had to offer because this trip was not about... more

My wife and I stayed here in May 2009 to hike in Banff. The lodge is clean and quiet, and the front desk staff was friendly. I selected this hotel, as it was more affordable than some other choices in the area. There was a pool and hot tub that we used once, and we enjoyed it. The room was... more

Enjoyed our stay at the Rundlestone Lodge. To be honest we didn't really spend much time in the place as who visits the Rockies and spends all day in their accomodation!!! Staff were very friendly. Free underground parking was available for guests. Free wifi in the rooms too. The lodge is located at the far end of Banff Ave. It... more

We stayed at the Rundlestone Lodge over the May long weekend. We had a standard room which included two queen beds and a small sitting area. The room was located on the 2nd floor at the front of the hotel facing Banff Avenue. Some of the rooms have balconies but ours did not - no problem since we were traveling... more

What is there not to love about this hotel??!!! I have stayed at many much more expensive hotels that do not compare to the Rundlestone Lodge. The front desk staff was friendly and most helpful, the room (actually the entire property) was immaculate, the underground parking was so convenient, the location excellent, the price unbeatable! My only disappointment was that... more
