I booked this hotel based on the rating of being #7 out of so many hotels in Banff and being within my price range. After staying there, I am surprised that it rated as high as 7 as I have stayed in other places in Banff that I liked much better with lower ratings. We paid a few dollars more... more

I LOVED this hotel. We booked this hotel before they re-did their website so we weren't expecting it to be as nice as it was! We were greeted at the front desk by a very friendly, helpful man and a warm atmosphere with a fireplace and comfy leather couches. We stayed in the "Premier Honeymoon Suite" for one night and... more

Booked this hotel well in advance and couldnt fault it, although the Jacuzzi was far too hot and they werent afraid to run the hotel heating high either! Breakfasts were good, and it was only 30 seconds from the Caribou Lodge = first pick up on ski bus! Comfortable, fairly quiet, but only 5 mins taxi ride to downtown Banff.... more

Myself and my hubby stayed at Rundlestone for 10 nights at the end of Jan/beginning of Feb. I booked the hotel mainly because of price, it seemed really reasonable and by far the cheapest compared to others in the vicinity. The hotel was fine, I'm sure we could have done far worse. The decor is a little dated but there... more

My wife and I stayed here for three nights with our two children and we all liked it very much. The kids especially loved the indoor swimming pool, which was heated to a warm temperature so that the kids could stay in the water for a long time without getting cold. Also, the pool isn't too deep, so the kids... more

Perhaps not the most impressive from outside, but a great hotel overall. It is situated on Banff Avenue and is a nice easy walk down into the town. We stayed a couple of nights using it as a base for Banff/Colubia and Jasper National Parks and in that respect could not have been better. Extremely clean and great room and... more

Rundlestone lodge is awesome! Its the perfect location -right on Banff avenue. Check-in is quick and painless. The staff are really nice - mainly from Australia but also from different parts of the world. One of the best things about this place is that every room has a dvd player in it. After a tiring day of touring Banff, its... more

I stayed for 3 nights in September. Despite being charged over $200 and booking well in advance, I was given a terrible room on the ground floor. When I asked to move I was told it would cost another ~$130 a night...because they had a coach party in. I would describe the room as clean, functional and very plain -... more

This was the first stop on our Honeymoon in early august. Was worried about the reservations through Expedia, but the front desk was ready. I choose this hotel with help of this site. I would have love to spend the $$ for the Fairmont, but I figured I could get more for my dollar here. We stayed for 4 nights... more

We arrived at the Rundlestone Lodge expecting something spectacular (thanks to their website!), and whilst we weren't exactly disappointed, we weren't bowled over with excitement either! The staff were friendly and efficient, though after spending a lot of time in Canada's excellent B&B's it was extremely noticeable how unwilling the hotel staff were to "go the extra mile". I guess... more
