We ended up booking a room at the Pension Tannenhof at the last minute through Priceline. We had a great room with en suite on the second floor in the front of the building. The hearty continental breakfast was exactly as advertised, and featured a homemade granola, and homemade cookie/scones, as well as yogurt and fruit. Parking was tight, but... More

This was the second time time we have stayed at the Banff Boutique Inn. Love the location, the building, the "living room"... etc. Breakfast is delicious and the staff are wonderful. Clean, wonderful place to stay. Will definitely be returning!

we were a bit unlucky here as the council had decided to rebuild the road outside just as we arrived. The welcome we received could not have been better and you are made to feel one of the family rather than a guest. The room was comfortable and you were encouraged to help yourself to tea and coffee from the... More

So disappointed with this place, the pictures look good on the website but the rooms are completely different once you arrive. We had the room by the front door and my friend room 6. First impressions of my room was that it smelt musty and damp, we could hear people coming and going and the view was of a garage... More

We have just spent the last two nights here. We had a large room (3 I think it was) and it was very comfortable and quiet. Becky and her team could not have been more helpful and friendly and we really enjoyed our stay. Breakfast was good. Location is very convenient for Downtown. I think if people expect a 'Boutique'... I had the misfortune to be booked into room 7. The mattress on the bed was shockingly bad, no support at all. This thing should have been thrown out years ago! It sinks around you like a hammock. I read in the reviews here someone else complained about this same issue, in the same room back in 2014 - I... More

Very relaxed and informal Boutique hotel. We had Room 3 which although led off the guest lounge was very quiet. Huge room with lounge area and kitchen sink and fridge. Huge bathroom with separate bath and large attractively tiled shower. Very good breakfast included. Highly recommended.

So, there are some recent reviews about no interaction between the guests. The owners cat is bubbles, bubbles likes to jump in the car and go for a ride or get into your gear bag. The reason I know this is the owner greeted me and greets others as he works around the place making improvements. There was a horde... More

We were very comfortable in this B&B but we were disappointed with the atmosphere in the mornings during breakfast. Sometimes chaotic but more disappointing was the lack of rapport with other guests... Grumpy and standoffish. Some staff were warm and friendly... But largely run by students there is clearly a lack of commitment to guests... It wouldn't take much to... More

The staff, Danielle and Madison are very friendly and make you feel right at home. The lodge is well kept, clean and nicely decorated. Fast no-hassle check-in. Room #9 is the large deluxe king room but has a low ceiling at an angle near the wall, hit head a few times (I am 5’ 10”). Very clean, nice fireplace, 2... More
