We spent a beautiful relaxing weekend in a small cabin with a roaring fire and excellent food and drinks at the restaurant. This is a wonderful place to unwind from your busy life in the city and the individuals working were fantastic!! Rustic and laid back....no TV, no internet.....exactly what we needed after a stressful work week. Thank you, we... More

I am very disappointed to say that my experience with this establishment went from Outstanding (on my first 2 visits) to a complete disaster this time around. I booked their winter cabin and cuisine special that at the time was offered weekly from thurs-sunday. This is the same package I booked last year that was amazing. I booked at the... More

As a very small operation we are at times compelled to make changes to the services we offer based on the popularity. The economic viability of offering packages that require a number of extra staff on quiet off season mid-week days with little or no guests cannot be justified. We changed our package to a less expensive option and we... More

My husband and I completely loved the ambiance and charm of Storm Mountain Lodge and have been going there for years until recently. This place held special memories for us, we even got engaged there and always had a wonderful time. In 2014 we had planned to have our Fall wedding at Storm. Please think twice before planning a wedding... More

The cancellation of this wedding was the hardest thing we have ever had to do. We knew the bride and groom and we knew how important Storm Mountain as a venue was to them. We were faced with the fact that we had unexpectantly lost the key staff required to successfully execute this function to our high standards. We exhausted... More

I love Storm Mountain. When I first came here on a winter evening 3 years ago, thick snow had blanketed the mountain, and warm lights glowed from the lodge, while lanterns at each cabin twinkled in the woods. Inside the lodge, we were greeted with a crackling fire in a large stone fireplace, and we enjoyed a splendid dinner (I... More

Had a wonderful few days in this rustic lodge in June 2014. We had our own little cabin with ensuite and the wooden decor is lovely. The main central lodge is where the hotel's main reception and restaurant is, and has a really nice communal area for lounging around in by a roaring fire. This high up in the mountain... More

The stay was lovely until we had our dinner reservations on our second nights stay. We were so looking forward to the restaurant as I had been informed that they had lots of gluten free options and based on the reviews, the food was supposed to be superb. My husband is celiac so when we sat down we made sure... More

Storm Mountain Lodge was really lovely. Went for New Years Eve and Birthday celebration. The accommodations are rustic - only in size and technology. The small cabins each a have a cozy fireplace and a small bathroom. Bed is REALLY comfy. The Lodge is really nice with a huge fireplace(it was very cold out so much appreciated) to sit and... More

We stayed at Storm Mountain Lodge at the end of December, 2014 for one night. It was -28C the night we were there. The cabins were perfect. They were very "rustic" and are heated by a propane heater and a fireplace. Since it was so cold out it was cold in the cabin and it took a good hour and... More

As we live in Calgary ... we have taken visitors here ... to stay with dinner. We've also taken friends up just for dinner. It never disappoints. Even foodies will rave about the meal for days. The log cabins are rustic, romantic and feel historic. They do not have a full kitchen. The location is nice between Banff and Lake... More

I love this place as a romantic getaway. The price $249/night may seem high, but actually quite reasonable. Here's why. I always dreamed of owning my own log cabin, but never had the six figures of money it would take to buy my own, plus maintenance costs, taxes, etc so this place will now be my low cost alternative when...
