As we live in Calgary ... we have taken visitors here ... to stay with dinner. We've also taken friends up just for dinner. It never disappoints. Even foodies will rave about the meal for days. The log cabins are rustic, romantic and feel historic. They do not have a full kitchen. The location is nice between Banff and Lake... More

I love this place as a romantic getaway. The price $249/night may seem high, but actually quite reasonable. Here's why. I always dreamed of owning my own log cabin, but never had the six figures of money it would take to buy my own, plus maintenance costs, taxes, etc so this place will now be my low cost alternative when... After reading the negative reviews on how rude and unaccommodating the staff were, I was ready to cancel our reservations. However, since we have driven by this place for years and have always said we should stay for our anniversary, we thought we'd give it a try and I am so glad we did! We had booked one night and... Was recommended to try this venue by friends. Was very pleased we did. We arrived at about 1pm, just before the rush. Menu was simple but well thought out. We had baked butternut squash soup - beautiful. Prices are very reasonable and waiter was on his own and did a brilliant job. Would stop here again and highly recommend a... More

This may not be everyone's cup of tea, but we loved it. It is expensive, and for all that expense, there's a lot that you don't get! No wifi; no TV; no 5 star bathroom. But what you do get is a cute, little, historical cabin with a comfortable bed, separate bathroom and open fire. It has a heater as... More

Imagine a rustic and cozy log cabin near the top of a mountain. Imagine a roaring fireplace and a bottle of wine. Imagine just getting in from snowshoeing up the mountain to see incredible top of the world vistas. At Storm Mountain Lodge it's not imagination, it's reality. Add a gourmet restaurant and seating area around a massive fireplace in... More

Rustic cabins in the middle of one of the most beautiful spots in the Park. Excellent choice for couples and families looking to get away from the stress of everyday life. The restaurant serves up mix of local and seasonal meals, upper crust wines, and nicely chilled beer. Make sure to save room for dessert - top notch!!

Storm Mountain Lodge was our favorite accommodations in our trip to the Canadian Rockies. The location is great, close to both Banff and Lake Louise. The cabins are delightful and had the feeling that you were staying at a special, historic place. The September weather can be chilly and the fireplaces were cozy and romantic. The restaurant is a reason... More

A log cabin, with a fireplace and a nice bathroom with a heat-on-demand hot water system, and an on-site restaurant with pretty decent food! However, this lodge is located at least 30 minutes from any other restaurant, so you'd better like the food options here (and even if they are good, they are VERY expensive). And when it came to... It was actually December 2012 when we stayed here but TripAdvisor won't let me select that far back. I'm sure not much has changed since then, though. This was the most beautiful place I have ever stayed. It was a surprise booking, and where my husband proposed on Christmas Eve when we went for a walk in the two-foot-deep snow... More
