This place had been recommended by a couple who gave it great reviews. However i would not recommend it. Front desk disorganized. Could not give us directions. The couple who recommended it had been married over 30 years, but with a partner...TOO CLOSE FOR COMFORT! You could be in the bathroom and talk in a normal voice to the person... more

There are a lot of reviews here about the lodge. Some good some bad. Here is ours: Storm mountain lodge is a very nice place to stay and a plus it is dog friendly. The cabins had a log fireplace, bathroom, bed , couch and thats really it. It is a great place away from crowds . The cabins were... more

We stayed here for three nights and it was everything we hoped for and imagined for the Canadian Rockies. The log cabins are warm, snug and cosy and have big open log fires to snuggle in front of on the sofa. Lots of firewood is provided but there's gas heating too. The beds are big and comfy (I totally disagree... more

Storm Mountain Lodge is a wonderful place for a stay in the Canadian Rockies. My husband and I stayed 5 days and the cabin and meals were the very best we have ever experienced in Canada. We have traveled extensively all over the world in many high end hotels and resorts and we know a good operation when we see... more

Shoddy and disorganized. About 80 days in advance, I booked a three-day weekend stay at Storm Mountain Lodge & Cabins. When I called back (near the date of our reservation) to confirm, the Lodge had no trace of either my name or my reservation. I decided to make other arrangements. I then discovered my VISA card had been debited with... more

So good to see more excellent reviews than bad reviews for Storm Mountain Lodge. My husband and I stayed there this past weekend for 2 nights and I can't begin to tell you how much we loved the simpleness of the cabins. No phone, no TV, no radio ... just you and your loved one with a warm, cozy wood... more

I found Storm Mountain Lodge via its website and after reading some of the reviews on here, I was really excited about staying the three nights I'd booked. The staff were very accommodating and friendly and the food in the restaurant was wonderful. I would definitely recommend you have a meal there - but you'll need to book. The outside... more

For our first visit to the Canadian Rockies, we wanted to really experience the mountains. Storm Mountain Cabins are just what we wanted...rustic authentic cabins in between Banff & Lake Louise. A nice lodge with excellent dining & the cabins are warm & cozy. Not really luxurious, but well taken care of & well appointed. Very good staff & we... more

We spent 4 nights at Storm Mountain in the beginning of September. Our cabin (#3) was very charming with claw foot tub, wood burning fireplace, leather chair and comfy queen bed. Our cabin was in the row closest to the road, so there was some road noise - but it quieted down at night, so wasn't a problem. We did... more

We called Storm Mountain Lodge at the last minute on a Saturday afternoon and were lucky enough to reserve a cabin for two people for the same night. We also made a reservation for the restaurant. We were looking for somewhere different to stay and were enticed by the description of wood log cabins, wood burning fireplace and restaurant on... more
