Rustic cabins in the middle of one of the most beautiful spots in the Park. Excellent choice for couples and families looking to get away from the stress of everyday life. The restaurant serves up mix of local and seasonal meals, upper crust wines, and nicely chilled beer. Make sure to save room for dessert - top notch!!

Storm Mountain Lodge was our favorite accommodations in our trip to the Canadian Rockies. The location is great, close to both Banff and Lake Louise. The cabins are delightful and had the feeling that you were staying at a special, historic place. The September weather can be chilly and the fireplaces were cozy and romantic. The restaurant is a reason... More

A log cabin, with a fireplace and a nice bathroom with a heat-on-demand hot water system, and an on-site restaurant with pretty decent food! However, this lodge is located at least 30 minutes from any other restaurant, so you'd better like the food options here (and even if they are good, they are VERY expensive). And when it came to... It was actually December 2012 when we stayed here but TripAdvisor won't let me select that far back. I'm sure not much has changed since then, though. This was the most beautiful place I have ever stayed. It was a surprise booking, and where my husband proposed on Christmas Eve when we went for a walk in the two-foot-deep snow... More

Our stay here was so lovely and romantic! Our little log cabin was delightful and we wished we'd booked more nights in it. Very clean and comfortable, with ample firewood for the evening. The location for us was perfect, as it was between Lake Louise and Banff town; the two places on our 'to-do-list'. Although a tad pricey, the dinner... More

We loved the whole atmosphere of this site and the cabin we had. This was spacious with a very comfortable bed, lovely old fire which we used every night and additional heating if needed. Really did feel like stepping back many years but in a very good way! You have to eat in the lodge here which is wonderfully old... More

We stayed here in late August for one night, and the cabin was lovely. We had just a few problems.....towels and bath mat were wet when we checked in to the room....kind of gross. But someone came and removed them, and about an hour later provided us with dry ones. Also, our sink did not drain, but someone fixed this... More

The phrase "rustic elegance" perfectly captures Storm Mountain. Our log cabin was spacious, well kept and clean. The decor provided the right balance of cozy and rustic, from the charming fireplace to the comfortable bed. We had the opportunity to dine at the lodge's restaurant and had a memorable meal. The food, albeit a bit pricey, was fresh and prepared... More

We spent three nights at this amazing place and would highly recommend it as a base to explore banff national park. The cabins are cosy and comfortable and really romantic. Each is secluded and comes with a pile of logs to light a fire in your cabin. Even though it was late July there is a chill in the air... More
