Storm Mountain offers a true wilderness escape from the hustle and bustle. The cuisine in the lodge is some of the best I have had in Canada. The log cabins themselves are truly unique and a little rustic. Our cabin was cozy - there were no issues with road noise and our bed was very comfortable. We had a waitress... More

It was our first time at Storm Mountain Lodge. We stayed just one night after a day of snowboarding at Lake Louise. The cabins were so quaint and cozy. The authentic style from when they were first built is preserved and you definitely get that curl up by the fire feel. The staff were all more than helpful and made... More

We stopped for an afternoon drink with friends in front of the open fire while touring Banff National Park. What a gem! Sink-in comfy seats in front of a roaring log fire. Top notch wine. Very friendly welcome and a much better than average souvenir shop. Recommended by our hosts Susan and JB, so we knew we were on a... More

Perfect location for a romantic getaway! Individual cabins with wood burning fireplaces have so much charm, and ooze character and history! Food in the restaurant is absolutely delicious! Amazing views and both snowshoeing (winter) and hiking (summer) right from the Lodge. Park your car and don't need to look at it until you depart. No televisions so it is great... More

I chose this place to stay in the Winter because of the pictures on their websites making the cabins look cosy, romantic and unique! The cabins did not disappoint at all!! The fireplace in the room was gorgeous and loved all of the wooden and old furnishings. The cabins are spread out and it feels extremely private. We ate dinner... More

First, the setting is absolutely beautiful and serene. The hummingbirds will captivate you as they flash from one feeder to another, and the main lodge has many feeders. The location is very convenient: Castle Mountain is visible from the front of the property and Lake Louise is 30 minutes away. If you want to avoid the hordes of tourists (and... More

We have often stopped at the Lodge for a meal, or tea and scones on our way through the park way. Although the service is not fast, and the staff not always attentive, the atmosphere of this old lodge is really something, and we have always enjoyed ourselves immensely. Today we stopped in for lunch to be told that they... More

If you are looking for a venue for a wedding for 32 people, Look no further. The staff made our wedding a wonderful experience, and went a million extra miles to ensure things went smoothly even when the temperature dropped to -38. The dinner was amazing, and the facilities provided a perfect area for the ceremony, a four string quartet,... More

We always stop in the lodge for coffee and a snack when driving on highway 93. It's expensive, but you really feel like you are curled up on the couch of a great mountain lodge of 100 years ago when you sit and sip your coffee by their fireplace. If you drive down Hwy 93 and don't stop you are... More

The cabins are awesome, very cozy with the wood burning fireplaces, the beds do sag so your back will hurt in the morning. The food is way over priced and the service is poor. Menu is extremely limited, and did I say extremely expensive. NOT Family friendly
