We loved our stay at Mountain Home. The location is so quiet but just a few blocks off the main Banff shopping street. We stayed in the Buffalo Room--a comfy king-sized bed, spotless bathroom with steam enclosure shower, and space for all our luggage without tripping over it. Breakfast was homemade muffins with various homemade preserves, cereals, fresh fruit mix,... More

Stayed 3 nights in Mountain Home in the Rundle Room. Very clean, spacious bedroom and bathroom. Towels changed everyday and a different hot dish for breakfast each morning. This was the most expensive B & B in our trip around the Rockies but Banff is a tourist hotspot and very expensive. A real positive about this place is that you... More

My husband and I stayed at Mountain Home B&B for a total of four nights. We had never stayed at a B&B before, and loved our experience with Lynne at Mountain Home. The B&B is perfectly located in the town of Banff. We were within walking distance or short drive to some great trails and downtown. The B&B experience was... More

WE travelled with our family (2 adults and 2 children aged 14 and 11) and stayed at the Mountain B&B for a week at the end of March 2010. We were absolutely delighted with our accommodation and the quality of the Breakfast all of which was homemade - I thoroughly recommend Lynnes' homemade banana bread, and the pancakes are just... As young traveler's who have stayed at several hotels in Banff over the years I'm not going to lie, we were totally sceptical about staying in a B&B. We thought it was going to be kind of like staying with Granny, only worse because it's someone else's Granny that you don't know. After this New Years week end we are... More

I was visiting my brother in Banff over Christmas and as a traveller on my own didnt want the impersonal feeling of a hotel so decided to opt for a B&B.... and what a great choice I made!!! The Mountain Home is warm, welcoming, spotlessly clean and has the most comfy bed I have ever slept in! Lynne and Ecki... More

I traveled to Banff with my Sister and stayed at Mountain Home. We shared a great room with a king bed and fireplace. It would have been greate for with my husband because it was a romantic type room and for him there was a big TV. But it was great for my sister and I in a different way.... More

Me and my family stayed as the last place in a 2 week tour around Vancouver and the Rockies and it was a fantastic finale to the trip. The whole place is beautifully decorated and looked after, the bedrooms as Richard Pryor once said are " a room you could die in !" (Brewsters Millions, if you've not seen it... More

This B&B is off the main drag but an easy walk to all the shops and restaurants. Also easy to access roads to all major Banff attractions. The rooms are clean and roomy. Lynne requires that you leave your shoes at the entry closet and provides you with slippers. Her breakfasts are yummy: baked egss with ham, blueberry pancakes. There... More

Room was most expensive on our trip (stayed 3 nights here, 2 in nice Calgary hotel and 2 in nicer B&B in Jasper). Our experience was somewhat like the visitors from Essex. First thing indicated (in the 1.5 hr window for check-in--5-6:30 PM only) was to be certain to remove our shoes and place them in the closet. Also, the... More
