We stayed at the Mountain Home B & B May 31 through June 3, 2011 in the Cascade room. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The room was large and included a roomy bathroom with a great shower. The bed was very comfortable and the home very clean. The hosts ask that you remove your shoes in the house and because... More

Thank you to Lynne & Ecki for an amazing stay! Your home is lovely, your cooking amazing and your knowledge and passion for your town is contagious. We travelled from Australia to celebrate our 25th anniversary, and from the moment we arrived we were made to feel welcome. The view from our room was beautiful, and the cleanliness and attention... We stayed at the Mountain Home B&B for 2 nights. We had a wonderful stay, the rooms were nicely decorated and clean with a very comfortable king bed and it was very quiet and private. Breakfast each morning was delicious and our host was very nice and helpful. It was also located in an excellent location and we were able... More

The owners are friendly and make you feel welcome. The accomodations are very well maintained and kept in immaculate condition. The breakfast served each morning was fabulous - a great variety of fresh fruit, and a selection of cold dishes (cereal, toast) and one hot dish is served such as pancakes, french toast, eggs. The accomodations are within walking distance... More

My husband and I stayed at the Mountain Home B&B a couple of months ago, and had a nice time. The room was homely and spacious and there was free wifi available. And the communal breakfasts were delicious and good fun – meeting new travellers each morning and discussing the previous day’s excursions. Our hosts weren’t quite as welcoming as... More

This bed and breakfast is in a great location for accessing the sights of the town of Banff. It is two blocks off the main street . The house is not fancy but the rooms are large with high ceilings and our room had a great wood burning fireplace. The bathroom was immaculate. Our bed was also very comfortable. It... More

Great location. Only a 2 minute walk from downtown Banff yet very quiet location. Great food including light, fluffy waffles, muffins still hot from the oven and good coffee. And I can't get the spiced pear jam out of my mind. Owner was full of helpful info info about the region and reccomended a great little restaurant. I'll be back... More

We loved our stay at Mountain Home. The location is so quiet but just a few blocks off the main Banff shopping street. We stayed in the Buffalo Room--a comfy king-sized bed, spotless bathroom with steam enclosure shower, and space for all our luggage without tripping over it. Breakfast was homemade muffins with various homemade preserves, cereals, fresh fruit mix,... More

Stayed 3 nights in Mountain Home in the Rundle Room. Very clean, spacious bedroom and bathroom. Towels changed everyday and a different hot dish for breakfast each morning. This was the most expensive B & B in our trip around the Rockies but Banff is a tourist hotspot and very expensive. A real positive about this place is that you... More
