Lovely home, very clean, excellent breakfast, great location close to everything. unfortunately, we did not feel at all welcome here. Very restrictive check-in times (5-6:30 pm) and we were treated quite rudely when calling to advise that we would be late. We were told quite sharply by Lynn that she had dinner guests and didn't have time to talk to... More

I booked this B&B over six months in advance and have to say I was a little disappointed. In principal there was nothing wrong with the B&B but given the excellent reviews I had read and the price I paid (the most expensive of all our stops in Banff, Jasper, Lake Louise and Golden) I just felt our money would... We had a wonderful week in Banff, headquartered at Mountain Home B&B. Lynn was a great host and served wonderful breakfasts. The house was very conveniently located just 2 blocks from the Main Street in Banff, close to everything. There was parking for guests in the back of the house but we never had a problem finding a parking space... More

We were a little concerned about staying here due to a few negative reviews. Our concerns were unfounded. Yes, we were asked to remove our shoes in the hallway (we had the same request at our stay in Jasper). With people returning to the B&B with hiking boots that could track in dirt and stones, this is a very reasonable... More

My wife and I stayed there for 3 nights. From the moment Lynne opened the door, we felt unwelcome. Ordered to take our shoes off like school kids. Very inflexible in everything. Breakfast starts at 8, too late if you want to go on long day hikes. I asked if we could have something to take with us if we... More

My husband and I stayed for three nights over the 4th of July weekend and had a lovely stay. The B&B is very well located, within walking distance of the main street to shopping and restaurants. The room was spacious and impeccable (a must for me!!!) and the breakfast was just delicious. We had something different every day, not only... More

My wife and I stayed 5 nights here in mid June as part of a two week trip to the Rockies. Necer having used a b and b before in North America we were a little nervous about the idea.but our fears were groundless Location was excellent, only 2 blocks from Banff Avenue, the house and room were very well... My husband and I stayed for 3 nights at this B&B. The host, Lyn was friendly but reserved and breakfasts were good. The upstairs rooms are very close to each other and the other guests could be easily heard in the hallway directly outside our room. I don't think it would be suitable for a romantic getaway as any noise... More

The best thing about this place was the location; just couple of blocks to the heart of Banff. The room was adequate and clean; nothing exceptional about it. Breakfast was on the lean side considering there were 4 couples staying at any one time and nothing to rave about. We stayed 4 nights and we didn't have any egg dishes... More

In a quiet backstreet, just a couple of minutes walk from the the centre of Banff, this B&B was so comfortable and warm, with all the supplies we could want. Our room and the entire house were furnished with antique furniture and antique skiiing equipment, which made us feel we were somewhere quite special. Our host Lynne was very welcoming... More
