I traveled to Banff with my Sister and stayed at Mountain Home. We shared a great room with a king bed and fireplace. It would have been greate for with my husband because it was a romantic type room and for him there was a big TV. But it was great for my sister and I in a different way.... more

Me and my family stayed as the last place in a 2 week tour around Vancouver and the Rockies and it was a fantastic finale to the trip. The whole place is beautifully decorated and looked after, the bedrooms as Richard Pryor once said are " a room you could die in !" (Brewsters Millions, if you've not seen it... more

This B&B is off the main drag but an easy walk to all the shops and restaurants. Also easy to access roads to all major Banff attractions. The rooms are clean and roomy. Lynne requires that you leave your shoes at the entry closet and provides you with slippers. Her breakfasts are yummy: baked egss with ham, blueberry pancakes. There... more

Room was most expensive on our trip (stayed 3 nights here, 2 in nice Calgary hotel and 2 in nicer B&B in Jasper). Our experience was somewhat like the visitors from Essex. First thing indicated (in the 1.5 hr window for check-in--5-6:30 PM only) was to be certain to remove our shoes and place them in the closet. Also, the... more

We checked in at this bed and breakfast at the allotted time as stated on a sign on the front door. Our first thoughts were "if youre not checking in between these times, then go away". After introducing ourselves we were asked to take off our shoes. This is absolutely fine as we dont walk around our own home in... more

This was my second stay at the B&B, this time I was there for meetings, so I was by myself. And again I found it superb. I was arriving a bit late, but unsure of exactly when, so I was left information and a key at the back of the house. The Room: this time was on the main floor.... more

My wife and I had stayed at MountainHome for 3 days in July. This being our first stay at a B&B, we were not sure what to expect and ultimately we were quit satisfied with the experience and would definitely stay there again on future visits to Banff. We had stayed in the Rundle Room, which was quite comfortable, large,... more

It was a very good start to our Canadian Rockies holiday with 2 other couples. Very clean and comfortable beds and rooms and ensuite, not to mention the excellent cooked breakfast. Very accessible to town and river walks. Lynne will give you all the privacy you want and yet is available when needed and she is very accommodating to our... more

At Mountain Home we stayed in te "buffalo room". We spent quite a bit of time just looking at the collection of buffalo themed items. The rom was warm and comfortable and the bB&B was nicely located in Banff. Breakfasts were a treat prepared by the owner. Several of the other guests were repeat visitors. If Banff is your destination... more

My husband and I recently spent a few days in Banff, Canada and stayed at the Mountain Home Bed and Breakfast. We were delighted with our accommodations at this Inn. We were close to downtown and were able to walk to many places as well as to dinner in the evening. The hostess was delightful and gave us many good... more
