This was my second visit to this hotel. My daughter & I booked a skiing holiday and travelled from the UK. If you want luxury then go somewhere else and pay top dollar. The Red Carpet is homely, clean, friendly and after a day of skiing, all we wanted to do was get something to eat and crashout. As another... More

My girlfriend and I stayed at the Red carpet inn last weekend for 2 nights. The rooms are ok, the overall atmosphere;trying to get out of the seventies, breakfast is included but very plain and messy with a bunch of people in a crowded room. On our second morning we decided to try the hot breakfast next door at Eltoros... More

I just stayed at this hotel over the weekend. About 5 minute walk from the beginning of the shops at Banff Ave. Clean room, comfy king size bed. Plus free wifi. Also allows pets for additional $10 Although the service was accommodating of my reservation changes, I wouldnt recommend this place for people who actually want to get good sleeps.... More

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. It’s very unfortunate to hear that your sleep was disturbed during your stay, and I would like to address a few reasons listed. As you mentioned, there is an active railroad that runs parallel to Banff Avenue, and unfortunately can sometimes be heard late at night. I feel it is... More

I stayed here on a "allocated on arrival" skiing holiday from the UK. I have to say I wasn't expecting very much; it was cheap. In fact it was clean, warm and spacious. And it's on the main drag. What more could you want on a skiing holiday?

When you drive along Banff avenue it's motel after motel after motel... when it's early enough in the day most will still have the vacancy sign on so which one do you pick? Well we just picked this one. Nice enough room, great views on the surrounding mountains. No complaints except that the breakfast area was a bit crowded with... More

Stayed here after a concert and before snowboarding, was perfect location for this type of stay. Free breakfast was handy, and room was small, but we were hardly in there so that was no worry. Would stay there again, was close enough to town, but not close to noisy bars or clubs.

Very comfortable hotel that is good value for your dollar. A few rough edges (cracked grout, lightbulb scorch marks, tv remote power button not functioning) but nothing to detract me from the good points. The beds were VERY comfortable with big puffy pillows and perfect temoerature control in the room. The continental breakfast is basic but adequate (Corn Flakes, Cheerios,... More

Luckily for this trip we were sightseeing so did not spend much time in the hotel as it was far from impressive. The location is ok as it is on main street and not too far a walk from downtown. There is no restaurant or bar but lots of other hotels close by do have one. Not much parking out... More

Stayed a few days ago for 3 nights. Room was tidy and clean -- very good price for Banff ~$86 Cdn and then had an AMA discount on top of that. Relatively modern and overall, decent. Will be back again -- it's also locally owned!

We stayed at the Red Carpet Inn one night before going to Lake Louise. It was pretty decent, but nothing out of the ordinary. The location is pretty good, and you can walk into town within minutes. The rooms had a musky smell to it and the windows weren't perfectly isolated, but for the price it was good value. I... More
