Nice hotel with comfy king sized bed within walking distance for shopping and dining. Friendly staff. The only problem we could see was the lack of parking, very small area putting vehicles at risk of getting hit from people attempting to angle park. However, great value priced hotel.

The hotel is well located, on Banff avenue, with access to downtown Banff, tours, shopping and restaurants. It also serves as a pick-up and drop-off for all tours and shuttle buses. Staff are friendly, and I could get into my room earlier than regular check-in time, since it was cleaned and ready for me. The room was clean, the fridge... More

Looks like an older hotel, but our 2 rooms seemed to be recently remodeled and very nicely done. Although we arrived too early to check in we were able to park in their underground garage and walk downtown. The desk clerk was very nice and recommended some places for us to visit, including the estimated time it would take for... More

booked the room on line. To our surprise the room we booked on the web site and the room we got were not the same. Had to upgrade to get a better room. This was still out dated and in need of major repairs. There was cleaning carts and laundry piled in the hallway with no staff anywhere around. Continental... More

Banff is a fancy resort town so everything is expensive. Red Carpet Inn's price was not bad compared with the rest. The room was nice and the location is great. A couple minutes walk to the downtown area. They have a nice breakfast too! Would definitely come back again!

We didn't know what to suspect when we booked. Location was an easy walk to the center of town. Parking was available and free. Breakfast good. The room was very spacious and clean. The staff was okay, not super friendly. They have tourist information readily available.

Room was very small but clean. Suitable for just the 2 of you, however I wouldn't stay with our kids. A short walk to the main street area, which was nice. Breakfast was disappointing. There was nowhere to sit so we shared with another couple. It would have been nice to have some waffles or pancakes as an option. Not... More

Thank goodness we had a second day in Banff and another chance to make up for our first night. This cute little hotel, had everything the Banff Park Lodge didn't....parking, internet service and Continental Breakfast INCLUDED. I still don't understand why this can't be at every destination spot. We had fresh fruit, bagels, toast and cereal offered to us. We... More

For what they charge, you think you'll be serenaded by dancing girls with bottles of champagne. Not so much. Very basic room. Clean and quiet but bare. Continental breakfast was a joke. Raisin Bran, bagels and the world's crappiest coffee. Free WiFi, walking distance to town center. This area is expensive and if you're looking to save a few $$,... More

The room was so bad...very old and dated. So obvious that the owners have never reinvested in the property. Stayed there only because they had A/C but that barely worked. The only good thing was the location; it is a short walk to downtown Banff. THE CLINCHER WAS THAT THE MAID LEFT OUR DOOR OPEN. Thank goodness nothing was stolen... More
