Luckily for this trip we were sightseeing so did not spend much time in the hotel as it was far from impressive. The location is ok as it is on main street and not too far a walk from downtown. There is no restaurant or bar but lots of other hotels close by do have one. Not much parking out... more

Stayed a few days ago for 3 nights. Room was tidy and clean -- very good price for Banff ~$86 Cdn and then had an AMA discount on top of that. Relatively modern and overall, decent. Will be back again -- it's also locally owned! more

We stayed at the Red Carpet Inn one night before going to Lake Louise. It was pretty decent, but nothing out of the ordinary. The location is pretty good, and you can walk into town within minutes. The rooms had a musky smell to it and the windows weren't perfectly isolated, but for the price it was good value. I... more

We thought it would be nice to stay in the same hotel we were in many years back on our honeymoon. Not so much - the rooms were not updated and the rooms were quite small. Before heading off to bed we noticed that the blankets were loaded with hair. Called to get clean blankets and were given them quickly.... more

The Red Carpet Inn was exactly what we were looking for: A clean hotel, located in walking distance to Banff's center, supermarket and gas station. We arrived late at night and were happy to use the free in-door parking. Our room was a large suite with 2 queen beds which could have easily fit 2 more beds.. Check-In and check-out... more

This is a value motel. It was clean, quiet, and a reasonable walking distance from the Banff Town center. The amenities were acceptable. more

We stayed here in the winter over 8 years ago and booked for 3 nights of our recent summer trip. It was excellent value and nice to get a bit of breakfast in the morning. The room we had was much smaller than previous, we were round the back of the hotel this time and the room last time was... more

At first, didn't want to stay in a 'hotel', but toward the end of our week in CA Rockies, we decided it was time for a hotel rather than cabin or B&B. What a wonderful surprise. This was the best bargain by far on our vacation....and it wasn't until the last night before we had to fly home! Great big... more

The hotel direly needs some makeover judged by the condition of the carpet in the corridor. But based on the price I paid (I booked thru Expedia for less than US$100 per night), I have no complaint. However, I am very grateful for the late call from the front desk to remind me that I have not turned off my... more

My sister and I stayed at this hotel for 4 nights in August. 3 nights at the beginning of our trip and then we changed plans and stayed here the last night instead of in Calgary. The room was clean. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. There is a refrigerator in the room. (always a plus). Breakfast is sufficient... more
