Stayed 2 nights-very clean room with large bathroom-fridge and coffee maker-Asked for extra pillows and received-Comfortable bed. Very conveniently located within walking distance of downtown Banff activities, shops, restaurants etc. Basic cold breakfast included. The receptionist gave us a 10% discount for being from her home province of Nova Scotia. Would stay there again. more

Given the price you can pay for a hotel in Banff this one was good value and met our needs while not being great. The hotel itself is getting a bit tired looking but if you want something at the cheaper end in Banff then it's hard to beat. We were only there for 1 night but we would stay... more

Six of us spent a week at the Red Carpet Inn in March 2009. The staff were friendly, the rooms were spacious, clean and very comfortable and a coffee maker with coffee etc, fridge, personal safe and haridrayer were provided. Location is just right, a short stroll into town and the ski bus stops at the door. All our rooms... more

I stayed there as part of a group of 17 Snowboarders and I can safely say we all had a great stay. The rooms were clean with plenty of space, we had fresh clean towels every day and all the rooms had Cable TV. For the price we paid I think the hotel was fantastic, all the staff were friendly... more

This hotel only has 2 stars but that must be due to the lack of facilities, and not a reflection of the hotel quality. It is conveniently located on Banff Ave., 5 minute walk away from downtown. The front desk staff are very friendly and helpful; we didn't have a reservation and got a great "walk in" rate. The hotel... more

Friendly and helpful staff, in a warm comfortable hotel. We had a large room at the back, with views of the mountains from our balcony. Being at the back meant we had no noise from Banff Avenue, but it's never really that busy anyway, especially when the weather in in the -20's!!! Our room was huge, with two queen sized... more

Clean hotel, nice room, friendly and helpful staff. Parking lot was excellent for those temperatures. The location was ok if you like walking or if you have a car, but it is not too far away. Nice hot tub, good breakfast. Completed perfectly our nice stay in Banff. more

We have just returned from Canada and spent two nights at the end of August (complete with snow) in Banff. The Red Carpet Inn was clean, comfortable and convenient for the shops, restaurants and the station for those wanting a train or Greyhound bus. The reception staff were helpful. The help yourself breakfast was plentiful. The car park at the... more
