This hotel on the Main Street in Banff was terrible for many reasons. We paid almost $300 per night including Canadian taxes for this shabby excuse of a hotel. Looked okay outside but very old inside. We paid extra for an old worn out gas fireplace and a hot tub not used. The bed sagged and the room smelled moldy.... More

Hotel was not very clean. We pulled out night stand to plug in chargers and found lots of trash. Left night stand out and left tip for maid. When we got back, beds were made, tip was gone but trash was still on the floor. Door to bathroom was pretty jacked up too. Property did not seem very well maintained.

POSITIVES – A large room with good facilities including TV with BBC. On site parking with reasonable location. It was quiet. NEGATIVES - Not ultra modern but for us, it was fine. Pricey but most places are in Banff. SUMMARY – Overall we were pleased with the hotel and have little to complain about except the high price but this... More

Spent three nights at this hotel. Well situated as Banff centre was only a short walk away. Underground parking was an acquired skill but the entrance was actually wider than it first looked and not too difficult to master. The room was OK but the air conditioning was not very good and if you opened the window it could be... More

If you're on a budget with a group of friends this might be your best bet. It's one of the more affordable hotels in Banff so it did the trick. We had a room with 3 beds. Very spacious, good location, and clean. Breakers blew from our blow dryer though.

The price was reasonable. The staff were very friendly and willing to help. The jacuzzi room was awesome, it was very well maintained. One complaint would be that being so close to downtown it was rather loud at all times of the night. Our room faced the main road in Banff so that would be the reason. Not an issue... More

This place is pretty marginal. Wasn't really dirty but not clean either. The beds were ok. The parking was awful; down a steep driveway into this small area with no lines; it was very hard to park. The location was not great either; a pretty good walk to any restaurants or shopping. Supposed to have had in-room wifi but it... More

Spent a week in Banff and a few nights at the Red Carpet Inn on main street. The price was reasonable as most in the same area are over priced, to me anyways, I understand supply and demand but just seems crazy those other places all expected over $200.00/night just for basically a bed. It's not the fanciest place but... More

We had a jacuzzi room on the 3rd floor which was huge. Big bed and lots of space. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The jacuzzi was great to relax in after our long drive. There is also a hot tub on the 2nd floor which is great with views of the mountains. We chose this hotel... More

We visited this Inn arriving a day early but we're well looked after. There was a bit of refurb work going on but that can only improve the place which is in an excellent location for a short walk into the hub of Banff's Main Street where you will find restaurants, bars and shops. Staff are friendly and helpful The jacuzzi... More
