This place is pretty marginal. Wasn't really dirty but not clean either. The beds were ok. The parking was awful; down a steep driveway into this small area with no lines; it was very hard to park. The location was not great either; a pretty good walk to any restaurants or shopping. Supposed to have had in-room wifi but it... More

Spent a week in Banff and a few nights at the Red Carpet Inn on main street. The price was reasonable as most in the same area are over priced, to me anyways, I understand supply and demand but just seems crazy those other places all expected over $200.00/night just for basically a bed. It's not the fanciest place but... More

We had a jacuzzi room on the 3rd floor which was huge. Big bed and lots of space. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The jacuzzi was great to relax in after our long drive. There is also a hot tub on the 2nd floor which is great with views of the mountains. We chose this hotel... More

We visited this Inn arriving a day early but we're well looked after. There was a bit of refurb work going on but that can only improve the place which is in an excellent location for a short walk into the hub of Banff's Main Street where you will find restaurants, bars and shops. Staff are friendly and helpful The jacuzzi... More

I had a short stay at the red carpet in. The facilities were good and we were along the main road putting the town center within easy reach. The hotel was clean and reasonably priced. The room had good facilities and the hot tub on the roof had a great view of the mountains. couldn't ask for much more. The... More

The Red Carpet Inn sits on Banff Avenue alongside a number of establishments that look to be of a similar character. Banff, of course, is glorious and anywhere that provides comfortable, affordable accommodation is to highly prized because some of the hotels, also glorious in nature, are really expensive. So, any criticism of the Red Carpet is relative.....and you wouldn't... More

The hotel was clean and close to downtown for walking. No elevator from the parkade all the way up to the 3rd floor was not convenient. Side of the hotel there is a door that stays open all day and the elevator is to the immediate right when you walk in the building...not a great security feature, anyone can walk... More

We stayed here due to the price and the fact they provided a place for our infant to sleep in. Overall, the room was a bit small but the bed was really nice and the bathroom clean and perfectly fine. The hallways smell of stale smoke, but I'm guessing that's just due to the age of the hotel. We did... More

Parking space is limited as usual. NOT enough signs to indicate the parking bays. Drive behind the property an d you will find most of the parking bays there. There are underground parking but it is very difficult to navigate going down and also in the parking spots. Bed is a bit soft and so are the pillows. You will... More

This motel have comfortable beds and pillows. Glistening sheets and towels. The room was clean and the Internet was excellent. Apparently it has just sold sold it maybe upgraded. We all Australians found the ROOMS FAR TOO HOT and could adjust the central heating . Our rating 6 out 10
