My husband and I spent three days at this hotel as part of a group tour. There were 24 in the group. Our room and many of the others endured by our fellow travelers faced an alley alongside the hotel. The hotel is not air-conditioned - many of the hotels in Banff are not as usually the weather is much... More

My wife and i received a "romance package" from this hotel as a wedding gift - we booked a room for a Saturday in June - a date that was NOT noted as being "high season" or "excluded". Upon check in, we were informed that we owed an additional charge of over $100. They proceeded to tell us that the... More

We stayed at Brewsters Mountain Lodge for 2 nights in February for the purpose of skiing Sunshine and Lake Louise. We loved the location of this hotel - just walk around the corner for shops and restaurants of Banff. The hotel itself has a pleasant ambience with warm fire and lots of wooden beams, and the rooms were a reasonable... More

An OK hotel. Not really much of lodge although they have tried with the interior lobby etc. Rooms a fair size and clean and comfortable. Decor a bit cheap looking. Location is good but then again Banff is small and nothing is too far away wherever you stay. They do light a fire in the lobby and some guests were... More

The hotel is a cracker to look at, and when you enter the lobby you are delighted. To be fair, the decour is very good and I found the staff very pleasent and helpful. Now the problems. NOISE! I won't include outside noise, but the water pipes in the walls roar whenever someone flushes the loo, has a shower or... More

We stayed in Brewster Mountain Lodge for a wedding in Banff. We found the hotel to be excellent - a real find. I would recommend this hotel - the rooms very very spacious and very well laid out. The location is also terrific. I found the front desk staff to be very pleasant and accommodated all our requests. the hotel... More

Honestly, brutal service.... I travel at least 10 nights a month for work.... and I have never, ever, experienced a hotel with service this bad. The hotel itself is OK, more like staying in a mall than in a cool little lodge... its not bad, just not great. Oh yeah, HARD beds. We were booked for 2 nights at this... More

We enjoyed our 2 night stay here in the second week of October. Our Deluxe room was pleasant and cosy, though the bathroom was not great - quite dimly lit, though the shower was fine. From comments seen in the guestbook we didn't bother with the complimentary continental breakfast. We went to the Cake Shop/Store(?) on Bear Street instead, and... More

Service here is TERRIBLE!!! no one seems to know how to clean a room (or even make a bed) let alone run a business. Staff is rude. Room was often still not made up late in the afternoon, and when it was, bed was just thrown together. Missed 2 wake up calls (almost miss transportation to airport because of it),... More

We stayed in Brewster's Mountain Lodge for two nights and altough there was nothing objectionable, there really was nothing to recommend it. Staff were fine - not rude but not overly attentive. Breakfast is a bit of a joke as there is no real dining room - it's best to take your coffee and pastry back to your room. The... More
