I met my daughter in Calgary and traveled to Banff January 31, 2008. We selected our hotel via the internet and when we arrived the Lodge surpassed our expectations! The rooms were not only spacious, but very comfortably decorated. We stayed there for five days and each day, the housekeeping staff saw to it that our room was cleaned and... More

Was quite surprised after reading so many bad reviews how good the Brewster’s Mountain Lodge was. We had booked two standard rooms as such, the one me and my friend occupied (room 302) had two queen size beds, sofa and table with two chairs plus other usual hotel room furnishings, best of all a balcony which was not expected as... When my husband and I were planning on our honeymoon in Banff, we wanted to look for a hotel that had a rustic look to it, homey, yet still in the city. We found it in Brewster's Mountain Lodge. We had a lovely, spacious room in the corner. The room also had a jacuzzi and a separate shower room as... More

We have stayed twice at this hotel as part of a ski trip. The first was Feb 06 in a superior room, the second Feb 07 normal room. Both stays at the hotel have been good and we would stay there again. The rooms are clean and of a good size. The extra for a superior room is not really... More

When we picked Banff as a destination, we were hoping for a quiet getaway with a few lazy opportunities to see the area. We got exactly what we were looking for! Brewster's was accommodating and the staff went out of their way to make us feel comfortable. We got a quiet room at the end of the hall with its... More

Brewster’s Mountain Lodge We’ve stayed at Brewster’s Mountain Lodge many times in the past, and I’ve submitted a review to TripAdvisor for every stay. After our most recent visit, however, we won’t be returning. We stayed on for a Saturday and Sunday night in the latter half of September 2007. The room itself was pleasant and clean, as always, although... More

This is the first time I have ever written a review, but feel I must do it to warn other travelers, who can easily spend the same money (250 night) at a much nicer hotel. Stayed here on Saturday, Sept 22 and had one of the worst nights of non-sleep I have ever had. Was by far the noisiest night... More

We stayed at Brewster's for 10 nights in January. We were very nervous going there having read the reviews on this site - nervousness which nearly led me to cancel the holiday or request moving to Caribou Lodge. Thank goodness we didn't! The staff were very friendly and helpful when we arrived much later at night than expected - shattered... More

We were on a motorcycle trip to the Canadian Rockies from Louisiana of which we were to arrive in Banff on June 29, 2007. Before we left Great Falls, Montana we called and verified our reservations with our confirmation number. Their response was everything is arranged and they will be waiting on our arrival. Please note that this was the... More

I'm not here to tell you some of the other reviewers are being overly picky, or exaggerating their problems with the Brewster Mountain lodge. I don't know what happened to them, and all I can speak to are 2 days in mid August of 2007. But my stay at the hotel was excellent. I'll get to why I really loved... More
