We stayed at Thea's House last summer, and have been meaning to write a review ever since. We went to Banff for our 10th Wedding Anniversary, and stayed at Thea's House almost a week (longer than most people). It was pretty much the best place we've ever stayed - the room was fantastic; the bed incredibly comfortable (top of our... more

My boyfriend and I stayed at Theas house for three nights and we couldnt have asked for more. Jami was friendly, explained everything to us thouroughly and let us be, to do our own thing. The room was absolutely gorgeous (Edith room), We barely had to leave the room at all. All the little things like the unique bed, the... more

My husband and I stayed at Thea's for four days last week. We have stayed in over 100 B&B's and after reading the previous reviews I guess everyone looks for something different. This was our experience. The shoe thing NO PROBLEM The house is very nicely decorated, and YES its clean (but folks all B&B's are) if not I doubt... more

Just returned form a wonderful week at Thea's. Immaculate accommodation and house rules keep it that way. It takes about 5 minutes for Jamie to explain them - after that she leaves you alone. Her helpfulness and kindness was much appreciated. We did not expect to be given a garage space for our hire car - many thanks! I travel... more

Thea's House is a wonderful B&B, centrally located and a beautiful house. Jami takes great pride in her house and therefore as already commented in another review, why should she not expect other people to respect it. It did not feel like there were lots of rules, merely a request to treat the place as you would probably treat your... more

We stayed at Thea's B&B en route through the Rockies. This was the CLEANEST house we have EVER known!! Walking around the house in white socks that stayed perfectly pristine!Jami is a lovely person and her breakfasts were far from disappointing - they were very enjoyable and filling. Every room was immacutely presented and perhaps THAT is where any issues... more

I've stayed at numerous B&B's over the years, and Thea's is definitely the best: rooms are all lovely (we stayed in the Rundle for 5 nights but caught glimpses of the others), clean, and spacious; breakfast is superb. Jami was consistently gracious, genuine, friendly, and helpful. (I really don't know what some of these other reviewers are talking about or... more

My wife and I had the pleasure of staying at Thea's House for five enjoyable days last week. Jami is a most gracious hostess and keeps everything spotlessly clean. We felt very welcomed and at home during our entire stay. Her attention to detail is remarkable... turned down bed with Bernard Callebaut chocolate each evening, Aveda soaps, artful breakfast presentation.... more

Thea's is the best-looking house on the block. The furnishings of the guest rooms are very nice -- we took a peek into the 4 rooms which are all on the 2nd floor. Each room has its own charm and are quite spacious and well furnished. The Positives: We stayed in the largest room, which had a beautiful metal framed... more

If you are looking for 5* comfortable accomodation maintained to the a high standard in a central location, then this unique boutique B&B is the place to stay in Banff. Quiet with loads of character, Thea's House and its hosts Jami and Greg make this a real "Home from Home". Decorated by Jami in a combination of modern and antique... more
