If you have no trouble negotiating stairs ( it is a three story Inn with no elevators) you will love this Inn! We had a spacious, spotlessly clean room, including a fridge and coffee maker. If your looking for a clean and friendly place to stay.. for the price there is nothing like the Homestead Inn. This isn't the Banff springs hotel, but a rather well price motel style place that is located just off the main strip. The stairs going up to each floor were badly in need of refurbishment which was an immediate put off however the rooms were clean and tidy so no complaints there. Lots of building work going on behind which may have led to dirty carpets. Very close to central Banff and lots of walks. more

Nothing fancy about this place, but it is clean with good sized rooms, and you don't have to pay for parking. They probably have one the lowest room prices in Banff. They are steps from the downtown area and have a good restaurant next door - Melissa's Missteak. more
