My friends and I all agreed that this property deserves the number one rating it has on this website! It's true that there are some worn spots on the rugs and sometimes I had to rewash the dishes from the cupboard, but there were far more positives than those few negatives! At check in we were offered a room upgrade,... More

We stayed for a family ski holiday and initially had a semi-basement one bed flat. On day 2, a group of young lads moved in above us and for the following 3 nights we were regularly woken from 1AM to 5AM. We called the front desk about a dozen times. On day 5 we were moved to a 2 bed... More

We stayed at this resort last fall. It was away from town centre but not inconveniently so. The suite was pretty well appointed but the walls were thin and there was a problem with the smoke from other suites' fireplaces and ours. Parking was ok for the most part -- until the weekend came. Then it seemed like every college... More

Thanks for the feedback. It's been a while since we've seen a comment about weekend clientele and hope they didn't prevent you from enjoying your time with us. Although the Banff nightlife in the shoulder seasons does attract some younger clientele to all Banff hotels on the weekends, we do find at Hidden Ridge that the vast majority of our... More

We just got back from a 5-night stay at the Hidden Ridge in Banff. We stayed in a loft with twenty something children and skied at both Lake Louise and Sunshine. Accomodations were great at Hidden Ridge, I would highly recommend it. Scenic view, clean, and the rooms were very nice. Best thing, the underground garage to park our rental... More

Our room was not ready so they offered us an upgraded room for almost half of what the upgraded room cost. We get to our room, I should say chalet and there is a wonderful loft with a full bathroom, kitchen/dinning room and fireplace in the living room. Further on down the stairs was 2 more bedrooms with full bathroom... More

We stayed at the condos at the resort for 1 night to celebrate my husband's 50th birthday. Loved the resort. Condo was cozy, clean, comfortable. Nice real wood-burning fireplace (wood and kindling were ready and waiting for us), beautiful shared outdoor hot tub overlooking the mountain valley, with a huge, crackling fireplace close-by. Service was excellent, bed was comfy. Will... More

Check in was fast and friendly. Brittany from reception wrote up instructions to get us to a dog sled excursion we had the next day in Lake Louise, which was very helpful. We got the one bedroom condo which was very nice and clean. Had a fireplace with free wood all stocked for us, kitchenette, living room space, bedroom, bathroom.... More

Stayed here for a week and found it overall a very pleasant experience. We had one of the one bedroom basement units and were pleased with this choice as the parking was just outside and was easy to transport loads of gear. There was some overhead noise when there were people in the unit above but this happens at most... More

Hotel has beautiful views,a great hot tubs and our condo type room was great, cleaned every day, firewood stored under the stairs and wildlife right outside balcony door. Only complaint is there is not enough parking so after a day of skiing it was hit or miss if you got to park in front of your Chalet, overall a great... More

We've just returned from our 4th visit to Banff. Previously we stayed in the Caribou which has always been lovely, but this time we chose to stay at Hidden Ridge as we stayed a little longer (17 nights) and liked the idea of self-catering in order to reduce the cost a bit. The member of staff that greeted us at... More
