Do not stay here. The rooms are small, the walls are paper thin, the towels are THREADBARE, the bathrooms pathetic, the bedding terrible, the wifi non-existent. The bed was uncomfortable and the bathroom was tiny, old and grimy. We spent our night listening to drunken young guests banging around above us at 230am. A complete rip-off.

We stayed here for almost 2 months in November and December 2014 and felt right at home. The lodge has adorable small town charm with cute quilted duvets and timber paneled ceilings. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful and willing to go the extra mile for guests, including making beautiful fresh breakfasts and cookies for afternoon tea. Definitely make... More

Great place to stay when you want to spend your money more than just accomadations. Very quaint and hopitable in a perfect location. Breakfast was excellent. Only thing that I did not like was the weak wifi signal coming to our room on the second floor.

We spent 3 nights and were in the 'Prospectors Room'. The room itself is cosy: once our two suitcases were on the floor it was a little tight, and the bathroom is little. But we knew this from the website information, and it was absolutely fine. The location is great: easy one block stroll to everything on Banff Avenue. We... More

My boyfriend and I stayed at the lodge for a couple of weeks when we first arrived in Banff, before finding a place to live for the season and didn't want to leave! The staff there are super friendly, and will go out of their way to be helpful, offering advice on anything you can think to ask about! Our... More

Every time I come to Banff, I stay here. This is not a five star hotel, but a simple, quaint lodge run by some great staff. It's clean, cozy, comfortable and at a great price. I always find that this is the best way to travel. Kudos to the staff - keep up the great work!

We booked a 5 night stay as part of our 2 month tour of Canada and found this B&B to be one of our personal highlights, so much so that we booked an additional 6 nights later in the month. The staff of the Blue Mountain (particularly Pascal the owner and Mateja) were really welcoming and extremely helpful and knowledgable.... More

I loved this place! The proprietor, Pascal, is so helpful and friendly, had some great conversations with him! The room itself is small and basic but it has everything you need to rest and freshen up before you explore the town. The fully stocked communal kitchen is fantastic for making your own meals or heating up takeout and the breakfast... More

Location for the town was great. 2 minutes to walk and be on the high street.Parking in the back yard off road, no problem. Breakfast was delicious with lots of choice. We were in cabin at the rear of the house with separate entry door. shower room/toilet tiny but fine.

The Blue Mountain Lodge was our last stay on the Icefields Parkway, on the way back to Calgary. It was a nice change from hotels and felt like a European B&B. We stayed in the Cowboy room, with it's own entrance onto the car park. It was nice with kooky decorations. There is a double bed and two bunk beds,... More
