This place was clean and the breakfast was very nice...no hot food but a selection of cereals and bread/pastries/muffins and yoghurts. The location is also fantastic as you're right in the middle of town. It has more of a hostel feel about it than a B&B. I did however asked to be moved from the first room that we were... more

I stayed for week and had a great time. Yes the rooms are small by US standards but to us Europeans they are okay. If you're worried use Bedroom 1. The location is great for the price, just a minutes walk away from all the shops and restaurants and five minutes down to the river walks. If you want bigger... more

Reeling from the high accommodation prices elsewhere in Banff I selected this B&B for 3 nights. It was Ok but I might choose somewhere else next time.Bed and bedding were good and breakfast was quite good but the room and attached ensuite were tiny and cramped. It's rather a rickety creaky building, and the decor is more shabby than chic.... more

Get down early for breakfast before the croissants disappear! On the 3 days that we were there all the croissants dissapeared before all the guests had come down for breakfast. All that was left were cereals, wholemeal bread (no choice) and a couple of bran muffins (again no choice we had to ask if they had any other type). It... more

We stayed at the Blue Mountain Lodge in September 2004 and had a really great time. We didn't have any trouble with bed bugs nor did we experience any other hygiene problems. True the room was very small and the bathroom a bit like a store cupboard. But If you read their website carefully, you will see, that they mention... more

I was moved into a room with bed bugs, not just in the one room, I later found out there was three rooms with a bed bug infestation. Aparrently due to the lack of cleanliness in the rooms the infestation occurs every 2 months or so. If you are considering staying here, DONT!!!!!! more

We stayed for 2 nights in late August. The location is fantastic: a couple of blocks away from Banff's main downtown street, and a block away from a great pizza place. The owners were very friendly, but it was hard to escape the feeling that this was a business, not a home into which you were being made welcome. The... more

The owner was very pleasant, but the rooms were very cramped and the carpet in our room was actually dirty. The self-service breakfast included getting your own crockery and cutlery. We left earlier than planned. more

We had a great time at this B&B. The breakfast was fantastic. We came down around 9am each day and were delighted with the variety... fruit baskets, muffins, bagels, warm croissants, hard boiled eggs, cereal and more. I loved the fact that there were always fresh cookies and coffee when we got back after our daily bike rides. The location... more

This B & B is in a good location really close to the town but that's all I can say in its favour. The rooms are really small and dingy with the bed pushed up against the wall. Bathrooms are so small you have to shuffle round. The breakfast is DIY with only 12 places to sit but 10 rooms... more
