For a family of five we booked a suite. The room looked terrific was large and had six double beds. Unfortunately each double bed was a put me up so were all very uncomfortable. The room had not been properly cleaned when we arrived. When mentioned to staff they offered no reaction. The swimming pool and spa were excellent, as... More

A great ski hotel. The ski locker is convenient (right next to the front door - where the ski buses stop) so no hauling skis and poles around. Staff were very helpful - went out of their way to assist with a number of queries. Rooms were fine. This is no luxury hotel, but clean and well equipped. Bearing this... More

I originally booked a room that came up cheaper on another website. I sent the hotel an email and within the day, the price was matched. That's good service. The hotel itself is showing some age, as the parking lot was kind of dirty and the hallways had a certain smell. However, the hotel and room were clean. I didn't... More

Our family - 2 adults and 2 teens stayed for one night as we journeyed through the Rockies. it is one of those older hotels that might have been nice-ish 20 years ago but has been left behind and is starting to fray. Management should consider staying a few nights in a Holiday Inn Express to get some simple ideas... More

Stayed just one night. Complimentary breakfast through online booking. Rack room was average, 2 queen size beds. Bathroom was shabby and in need of an update. Breakfast buffet was good, except for horrible coffee. (Banff has notoriously bad coffee due to lousy hard water). Hotel lobby is nice. "complimentary carwash" in parkade is a laughable garden hose on a pillar.... More

Enjoyed my stay in the hotel. Large room with balcony with no chairs so couldnt sit out and enjoy the views. Very big hotel which made it confusing plus long walk from dining room. Average buffet breakfast but no cornflakes!!!! Eat in the restuarnt in the evening which was ok but nothing to write home about. Pool was small and... More

I spent one night at Banff Park Lodge and I thought all in all it was a very good hotel. The location is fabulous, the hotel was quite, the service was good. My husband and I were treated very well. The rooms are large in size but they could use some updating. I agree with one person's review that they... More

Stayed at the Banff Park Lodge from the 19th - 24th June 2008 and had a really lovely time. The staff on the front desk were polite and professional during both check in and out. The room (which had 2 queen beds, balcony and view of the Cascade mountains) was extremely clean and well maintained. For information, the room has... More

We have just returned from a visit to the Canadian Rockies including a three night stay at this hotel. It is in an excellent location, literally just on the edge of the downtown area. The hotel itself is great with all the amenities and services you would expect from a hotel of this calibre. Staff were helpful and courteous and... More

I stayed at the Banff Park Lodge in Banff, Canada, for five nights for a conference held there in June 2008. I paid $179 a night plus taxes. It is well located, just two blocks off the main drag (Banff Avenue), and the staff is very helpful. They booked a couple of tours for my colleagues and me, and were... More
