We've stayed at the hotel many times over the last 10 years. It's good, but starting to show it's age. The Cascade elevator was looking and feeling a little rough. The rooms are clean but again showing their age. More

We stayed at the BPL last week for 2 nights. The rooms were clean, if a bit dated looking. Front desk staff pleasant. Not the most friendly staff, although the location is prime. The lounge is pretty cool, and the best part is the pool/sauna/hot tubs. The rooms unfortunatly were mediocre. The hotel is well placed for conferences allowing delegates some time to have a day skiing at world class resorts nearby. Rooms are very comfortable offering most amenities, an excellent breakfast and excellent restaurants for lunch and dinner, although if you are just there for winter sports, you will not have the sumptuous lunches conference delegates enjoy! We spent the weekend here and it was so nice. Our room had a comfy king sized bed, and a jacuzzi! The shower had dual shower heads on both walls. It was wonderful and relaxing. The staff were very helpful and polite too! More

I find this hotel a bit expensive for room quality, but the downtown location might be worth it if you're not on a budget. The eucalyptus steam room is fantastic.
