Me and my husband stayed 3 nights, the room was comfortable and clean, the staff were friendly and helpful. There was room for our ski gear, a place to securely stow skis and ready access to a bus to the hill. We found the continental breakfast very good with an excellent selection of hot and cold food and again the... More

We stayed here for 2 nights while snowboarding in Banff. Check in was easy. There is a storage locker for ski equipment in the back. Card key access to locker with plenty of space and chains for locking equipment. The front desk said they normally provide, but they were out. We left our equipment there without locking without any incident.... More

Our room was clean and very comfortable. The bathroom seemed to have been recently renovated with a modern look and was more than adequate for our family of four. The complementary breakfast was excellent and included healthy options (oatmeal, granola, yogurt) in addition to the standard hot items like scrambled eggs, sausage and bacon. There were two heated pools on... More

Travelled here mid March for 11 nights our first visit to Banff. The hotel was in a perfect location just a couple of blocks from the many restaurants and the ski bus stops next door to the hotel. Our room 330 was large and modern with 2 queen beds, a table and chairs, fridge, TV, kettle and coffee maker and... More

Thus hotel is on the main road of the shops with just a 3 minute walk. The hotel has a cool hot tub with an outdoor fire. Our room was lovely looking but we were in room 211 right next to the laundry room. It sounds like we have birds in our roo all night. Saying this the room was... More

This place had been my "go to" for the main reason that it is comfortable, affordable, great location and fantastic complimentary breakfast. The last two times I could find minor flaws in our stay, but this time was perfect. I am heading back in a month and there wasn't any question where we would stay. My only complaint has nothing... Stayed here for 10 nights at the beginning of March and had a fantastic time. The hotel has recently undergone refurbishment and had everything you could possibly need for a skiing holiday. Room was spacious with queen bed and table with 3 chairs. Shower over bath - powerful and plenty hot water regardless of the time used. Hot tubs were... More

We stayed here for two weeks in Feb/March 2015 and this is our second visit to the Banff Aspen Lodge. We found the staff to be very helpful with any requests we had, a lovely, quiet room looking over the side street (although there is a very large building site there at the moment, there was no noise disturbance at... Great big room, beds and shower. Fantastic outdoor hot tub, and excellent breakfast. The staff helpful as always and a short walk to the village. We were here December 2013 and enjoyed are second stay. We will probably be back on Feb/2016. The only reaso I don't give 5 stars this time was the Wi-Fi - very, very slow. Highly... More

Nice place, newly renovated with a modern feel to the rooms. Nice outdoor hot tubs (2) one with a fireplace beside it. Our stay included: - Breakfast for both of us--it was good, and included fruit, and protein like bacon, eggs, sausage. Not a crappy continental breakfast. -passes for the Banff hot springs for both of us -$25 gift certificate... More
