We stayed in a third floor room with a fantastic view of Sulphur Mtn. The room was very spacious, clean and well furnished. Our room which faced southwest got warm but not too uncomfortable in the evening. We used the fan in the room and didn't have any problems sleeping. But IMO staying in one of the west facing rooms... more

Stayed at the Banff Aspen Lodge for one night while doing a quick weekend trip to Banff. Great location, within walking distance to restaurants and shops in town, or just a short drive to the falls, the gondola, golf course, etc. A Safe Way is located just down the street. Underground or covered parking out back. We were in room... more

I stayed 3 days with my husband for Thanksgiving weekend, booking online thru Expedia/AMA and driving 1.5hr over from Calgary. Overall, I was impressed by the hotel staff, amenities (pool, steam, sauna, underground parking, and breakfast) and location, considering the low price. It was unexpectedly colder for the weekend, so we were thankful it was only 2 blocks away from... more

After more than 14 hours and thousands of miles traveling, I walked into the lobby of the casual but homey Aspen Lodge and was greeted with a smile and very friendly hello from Amanda at the front desk. (Like many of the workers in town, she had an Aussie accent, and since I'm a sucker for a Down Under accent,... more

The hotel location is convenient to downtown, and we enjoyed the outdoor hot tubs. The best part was a friendly staff. Amanda, in particular, went out of her way to help us more than once, and always with a sincere smile. We would definitely come back. more

We booked in the UK with Thomas Cook, the hotel was one in their choices. Having been to Banff in 2007 as part of a tour of the Rockies we wanted to return to stay longer. As none drivers we arrived at Calgary and used the Banff Airporter(a two hour trip) to get to Banff great service. Arriving late we... more

Our stay was outstanding from the beginning. We had excellent service from the minute we checked in. Our children had a wonderful time in the hot tubs and the pretty blond at the front went out of her way to keep a smile on there faces the whole time. Thanks allot guys, we will definitely be back! more

Room was a little dated but clean and queen bed was comfortable. Staff was friendly and helpful. Complimentary breakfast was good..breads, muffins, cereal, pastries, yogurt, fruit, juice, coffee, tea. A great start to the day. I am a 54 yr old women travelling with my parents. They also were pleased. The only thing Dad complained about was the noise from Banff... more
