We paid CAD530 for three nights in September. It was quiet, centrally located, the rooms are clean, modern for Canadian standards where most furniture seems to come from the eighties. The double sinks apart from the showerroom were really handy. Even apart from having no AC (what hotel of this quality has no AC??), we found the room good value... More

This hotel is located along Banff Avenue within 2 minutes from the main centre on foot. Room was very spacious with 2 queen beds, lovely hot buffet breakfast with delicious homemade muffins and service was impeccable and friendly. The hot water pools in the courtyard were certainly welcome after long hikes! Don't shy away from them! The basement car park... More

Spent two nights at the hotel with my 75 year old parents. The location was a few blocks from downtown, the staff were all friendly and attentive, the hot breakfast was excellent and we made good use of the hot pools and steam room. Rooms in the back are very private and the higher floors are preferred. we were in... More

Recently stayed for two nights at the Banff Aspen lodge. Great location, a short walk to the town. We had a 1st floor room, very spacious. We enjoyed the hot tub in the snow. Yes the breakfast room is small and we did queue, but if you don't mind sharing you get talking to other guests doing the same trip... More

We had first floor front room with nice balcony overlooking front of hotel and mountains, it did overlook the road but was not noisy at all when we stayed there. Room was large and comfortable, and well maintained, coffee machine (always very important!) excellent, nice strong coffee! Reception staff were ALL very friendly and helpful with advice on local amenities,... More

Staff greeted us well and were so helpful in finding landmarks and places to eat. We were given enlarged maps every time we asked for help. Rooms were large (having booked the bigger rooms) and inviting. Breakfast was full range of hot and cold foods, couldn't expect more. The breakfast room is small and we occasionally had a short wait... More

We stayed here in room 121 which was on the ground floor. (This is a family room). Welcoming reception, with a coffee shop next door. Nice lounge area with free computer for guests. The breakfast was included and this was located downstairs (there is a lift). The breakfast room is quite small, so sometimes there is a wait for a... More

I was traveling with my niece to Banff and made the reservation by phone. The fellow on the other end was very polite and helpful. The hotel was near booked and we ended up with a room on ground floor in an area he called "high traffic". I had the bed right next to the door and did not find... More

We had a room on the 3rd floor - it was nicely appointed, clean and quiet with a nice partial view. Hot tub was perfect after a day of hiking. Staff very helpful and cheerful. Definitely will come back and recommend to friends and relatives.

Enjoyed our stay, friendly and helpful staff, who went above and beyond. Terrific breakfast, advertised as continental but actually an extensive buffet with hot and cold selections. The cafe onsite also offers light lunch and snacks. Well located for walking about town and very convenient free parking, under cover or underground. They also offer storage for sports equipment or luggage,... More
