I stayed at this hotel with a tour group this summer. We left at 9 and returned at 3 and my room was not cleaned. I dined at one of the hotels restaurants and ordered seared tuna. It was over done. I sent it back. On return it was still over done. If they are to put this on their... More

Great location next to the Gondola and Hot Springs. We liked the elevated location away from the town. Staff were multi cultural and friendly. The room was spacious and the bed very comfortable indeed. The hairdryer blew up but housekeeping quickly brought us another. The breakfasts were on the expensive side but convenient because of the out of town setting.... More

We had a fantastic stay at the rimrock and can't fault it in anyway. The staff made our honeymoon unique and an amazing experience. We would love to go back and hope to someday soon. Just to mention a few names within the concierge/ door staff that really made the experience Chris / Liz /Byron / Jeff/ you and all... More

Well worth the price. Hot springs and gondola are 10 minute walk. Free transit to downtown. Great pool. Service and hospitality. Only thing I didn't like is that you have to pay extra for parking. It should be included in price. Highly recommended.

Pity it is not nearer the town - that would be perfect. Staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfasts good. Proximity to Hot Springs and Sulphur Mountain a bonus as was the view from the bedroom window. Would use again.

The Hotel is situated and surrounded by mountains that are just spectacular. The Larkspur restaurant is very comfy and inviting with all leather furniture and a killer view. The Eden (my favorite) is rated a Five Diamond Restaurant, one of five in Canada. The view, again, is under-mentioned. Ask for a table next to the windows.

All in all, a good enough stay in Banff. The interior of the rooms was a little tired and old worldly for my taste...but from my research I think a lot of the hotels were in this style in Banff, so it's keeping with the theme of the town. In terms of value it was pretty good for this town..... More

We stayed here for 4 nights in July. Overall I was very satisified with the Rimrock and would definitely stay here again, although I might consider a hotel closer to the city next time. Pros: - Very nice room with refrigerator - Great view from the 9th (top) floor - All the staff members we spoke to were extremely friendly... More

My husband and I stayed at this hotel whilst he was attending a meeting. All our needs were taken care of by the friendly staff. The views from the hotel are amazing and its location is quiet and peaceful. The hotel is located out of town, and if you don't have a car it can be a pain having to... More

I've stayed at the Rimrock many times in winter but this was my first summer stay and each time, for at least part of the stay, my stay has been part of a conference or meeting. I've never had a bad view at this hotel from the rooms and the view is spectacular looking down the valley past the town... More
