We had a nice premium room with a view of the Spray Valley. There was a nice view of the Bow valley from other rooms and from the deck down by the Spa. My wife had a great time with really good service at the Spa by the way. The service was very friendly and helpful from the moment we... more

We stayed at the Rimrock for a week recently. We were originally booked for a Premium room through an Expedia package, but for a modest fee, we upgrated to a Grandview Room. Upon opening the door to our room, we saw 2 ladders, plastic tarps and drywall everywhere. After trekking back to the front desk, we were given another grandview... more

Stayed for 3 nites w/ $196/nite (superior room, the cheapest one at the hotel), self parking is $13/day, internet acess was not free ($13.95 nite). Hotel room is dated, with small analog TV, we could not see the picture really clear. Room decor is out of date, several spots on carpet that needed to be cleaned. You don't want to... more

We arrived in Banff without a reservation and drove around a bit looking at the hotels. The Rimrock looked very nice so I went in to check the rates and availability. We ended up staying for 3 nights in a mountain view room and it was a great mini-holiday. The rate was better than what is posted and was pretty... more

The hotel is as gorgeous as its location. It is about three kilometers up the road from the center of Banff, and provides breath-taking views of the mountains, some still with snow, and the golf course and the turquoise Bow river which lie far below in the valley. For someone who appreciates the splendor of the Rocky Mountains, this is... more

I have stayed at the Rimrock hotel many times. Tried to book one of thre best rooms and told it was taken. Find out there top rooms are under repair. We settled for a premium room. Nice room but the hotel was dead, no one here. Diva's bar closed, little or no service. We were going to take the stay... more

It is an excellent hotel situated in a valley on Mountain Ave on the way up to the hot springs and gondola. I went there with my family there. The rooms were all spotless and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The location is fabulous and the views from the hotel are really amazing. more

The Rimrock Resort Hotel has all the amazing service and wonderful facilities expected from a premium, high caliber, and first class hotel. The property has gorgeous views, beautiful rooms, wonderful bars and restaurants, and superb guest services. Being that the hotel is built into the side of a mountain the seventh floor is actually the main floor and a wonderful... more

The Rimrock was excellent! We (2 couples) stayed 2 nights. Honestly we tried to book the Fairmont first but it just seemed too expensive. We are glad we ended up at the Rimrock. Although the Fairmont looked majestic and castle-like, to us the Rimrock is the younger, more healthy, hipper brother to the Fairmont. The Fairmont is the jealous, aged... more

I am going to stay at Rimrock in August and check reviews. I stayed there few times before and I love that hotel! That's why we are coming back. Staff is friendly, great view, clean and nice restaurants. Especially I love their Spa. I could relax and have luxurious time. I always recommend this hotel to people who is going... more
