OK, this hotel will force you to consider what's most important to you. We booked a hotwire/expedia package which included hotel (3 n), airfare from Toronto and rental car (4 d) for about C$1200 pp. All of the pieces of the package had some challenges: Air Canada's labour problems added a 5-hr layover. The Dollar Rental Car people at Calgary... More

The hotel is a 15 - 20 minute walk to downtown however, hotel guests receive a free "Roam" bus pass allowing them a great option if they don't want to walk or stress over parking downtown. Our breakfast prices are very competitive and options include an all inclusive buffet, or menu service. This guest is correct, we offer complimentary Wi-Fi,... More

My sister and I came up for a wedding that we were booked to work at. We picked this hotel because of the outside hot tub and inside pool area, for something to relax in while we had a few hours down time. We arrived mid afternoon and our check in was smooth. We received a two queen basic room,... More

We stayed here for a week-end and had a great time. We read the reviews before we came and were somewhat unsure about the rooms and the layout of the hotel since there seemed to be complaints about everything being hard to find and that the hotel was dated. The room was just fine and anyone who could not find... More

I stayed at the Inns of Banff to attend a conference held there. I would not choose to stay there again, especially if traveling for pleasure. The rooms were spacious but poorly sound-proofed so that there was constant disturbance even from people walking up and down the hallways. The property is on the outskirts of downtown and so required a... More

The hotel is about a 15 minute walk from the downtown area and as this guest indicates, many people enjoy this scenic walk. The hotel provides complimentary bus passes for those guests who do not want to walk or drive themselves. More

Stayed in a 3 bed condo for a bachelor party weekend and was pleasantly surprised. Room seemed updated with granite counter tops in the kitchen, dishwasher, fridge stove, a huge flat screen in the living room. Beds where comfortable and having 2 bathrooms was a plus. The hotel is at the far end of Banff Ave so it is a... More

The hotel was welcoming, helpful, and clean. There was a ski rental shop in the hotel, a pub, a rooftop hot tub, and indoor pool and tub. It was close to the main part of the town and priced well. More

I stayed here for a conference and found a deal on livingsocial.com. This hotel would be alright for young skiers who just want a place to crash. The hotel is built into the mountain on about 4 levels with outdoor access to each level so if you want to go to the pool or restaurant you have to navigate quite... More

The hotel is located on very quiet part of the strip and is a 15 minute walk to downtown. Guests staying at the Inns of Banff have complimentary access to the Roam bus service with pick up directly across the street from the Hotel. Many guests take advantage of this great option to avoid downtown parking issues. More

Just stayed here on Feb. 18/12 - yikes, I stayed there 15 years ago and I think the carpet and decor is the same!! Needs some serious updating!! We were put into building c and to try to find the lobby or the pool was brutal and we felt lost. For about the same price we paid you can stay... More

I don't know why we like this hotel so much, for a ski weekend, it just seems to be our speed. Its clean. The price is right. 15 year old still gets to stay free! Its fun making our way around the different levels of the place, we find it hilarious that it gets confusing, but the signage is actually... More

We went here for a get away weekend - we've had much better experiences in Banff. We didn't expect 5 star for the price - we had a coupon for the weekend (glad for that!). We had a nice bottle of white wine and $25 credit to use at one of the restaurants. Hotel is confusing to get around but... More
