Comfy bit a walk 15mins to the heart of town when it's hitting minus 14c at night pretty much 10 dollar cab fare .. And the rooms are good but they walk straight out to the open ... so for breakfast you have to rug up to get there .. Great if you touring around with a car ..

Just returned today from a couple of nights in Banff. Picked Charlton's for the location to downtown and amenities. The room was spacious with a huge closet for all our snow gear and the bathroom was very large with separate tub and shower. The breakfast was really good, lots to choose from. (cereal, toast, waffles, yogurt, boiled eggs, juices). Enough... More

Good experience staying at the Charlton. We took the studio loft room. Good size for 2 adults and 1 toddler (we requested for a crib too). Room was clean. King bed was really big and comfy. Really happy that a kettle was available as well. Staff were friendly and service was very prompt. Free wifi, free parking, free breakfast. Only... More

Overall our experience was good at the Charlton. Clean and neat and comfortable. The "twin" beds were actually singles and couldn't fit two small children in so the room listed as being for 5 was really only suitable for 4. It was handy having the kitchenette and to have breakfast included. A solid 3 star hotel.

We stayed at Charltons over Christmas and the place was very nice. The staff were friendly and very helpful. Our room was very nice, great bathroom and we were greeted with a Christmas hamper featuring lots of quirky treats. The pools a touch small, but the hot tub is a good size and very inviting. Its a great location, not... More

We stayed at the Charlton Cedar Court in Banff Feb 27-Mar 1st. We normally book at the Delta, but there was no vacancy for our requested dates; we opted for the Delta's sister hotel. We were not disappointed. The King loft suites have a small living room with a flat screen TV, small bar fridge & a bathroom with nice... More

Our family recently booked a room at this hotel for a ski trip we had planned about a month in advance. I remembered the name of the hotel as I had stayed there some 25 years earlier as a young adult with my parents. I hadn't been to Banff for quite some time but remember the hotel as being in... Booked the romance package for me and my fiance. It was in the loft room, which came with a nice fireplace and king size bed. Everything was super clean and the starched robes were a nice touch. It came with a small bottle of Sparkling Wine and truffles and biscotti. All very nice. Had a TV on both floors which... More

Thank-you for giving us your feedback. We are so glad you enjoyed one of our loft rooms. The locked thermostat comments are something we are taking into consideration. It was a recent decision made when we installed updated air handling units in those rooms. We will continue to try to find a solution that ensures comfort for guests. More

I travel a lot and I rarely complain about accommodations and I really truly believe that you can find ANY hotel in Banff better than this. I had a previous dilemma with being booked a wrong room - even though I had specifically asked for two beds and ended up paying double for the room - putting a sour taste... More

Thank-you for posting your honest feedback. We are sorry that you had a poor experience. Your raise several issues that we can certainly take to heart and hopefully improve on. Our agents can be contacted 24 hours from your guest room if noise is an issue into the night. We hope your next stay in Banff is enjoyable one. More

We stayed a couple nights in a kitchen suite. Very basic clean and well equipped for the price. If you're looking for fancy move on. The prices are good for Banff anyway. The beds - not that great. The people in the next room left the bathroom fan on both nights we were there and it was quite loud. Location... More

Thank-you for your comments. Indeed one would not consider Charltons a luxury stay. We do strive to ensure that the rooms and our amenities offer a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere for all of our guests. More
