Stayed in a king size loft suite, floor had dips in it very old and bed very uncomfortable, hard! Pillows were good though. The walls are paper thin, room beside us had a marathon night and we heard absolutely everything, till 3:30 am, started about 11:30pm!!! Don't book third party, as they could care less about your stay if pre... More

Clean, spacious, and quiet.........all things you look for in a hotel. The only (slight) complaint is the elevator wasn't operational until after 8am making it a tad inconvenient if leaving early........

Watch your stuff. We left a plate and knife in our room. When we came back it was gone and we had to investigate where it went. Also, if you are in a room starting with 1 you will be on the loser side. Parking lot and street will be your view.

This hotel is in a good location between two hotels with restaurants. No restaurant in this hotel. Rooms are ok. Stayed in a loft suite. Very noisy as floors are wood. Loved that it had a fireplace. Good bathroom lighting, large walk in shower. Outdoor, unsecured parking. no safe in the room. Free wireless. Fridge. Continental breakfast (didn't use). Beds... More

This was our second visit to this hotel and we were not disappointed. The welcome and service were as expected and made our time in Banff a wonderful experience. The location is great. It is close enough to walk into the town and far enough out to avoid the late night revelers. Parking is safe, undercover and free. A great... More

Comfy bit a walk 15mins to the heart of town when it's hitting minus 14c at night pretty much 10 dollar cab fare .. And the rooms are good but they walk straight out to the open ... so for breakfast you have to rug up to get there .. Great if you touring around with a car ..

4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 22, 2015

Just returned today from a couple of nights in Banff. Picked Charlton's for the location to downtown and amenities. The room was spacious with a huge closet for all our snow gear and the bathroom was very large with separate tub and shower. The breakfast was really good, lots to choose from. (cereal, toast, waffles, yogurt, boiled eggs, juices). Enough... More

Good experience staying at the Charlton. We took the studio loft room. Good size for 2 adults and 1 toddler (we requested for a crib too). Room was clean. King bed was really big and comfy. Really happy that a kettle was available as well. Staff were friendly and service was very prompt. Free wifi, free parking, free breakfast. Only... More

4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 10, 2015

Overall our experience was good at the Charlton. Clean and neat and comfortable. The "twin" beds were actually singles and couldn't fit two small children in so the room listed as being for 5 was really only suitable for 4. It was handy having the kitchenette and to have breakfast included. A solid 3 star hotel.
