I stayed here for a conference from Apr. 26 - May 1. This hotel is quite acceptable for a single traveler on a business trip. All amenities are available or close by. The sister hotel next door, Banff Park Lodge, has the pool and restaurants, and the location is very close to everything downtown. My room was clean and had... more

this was my second stay here in the past 18 months and was once again, pleased with our choice. stayed in the family room so it overlooks the parking lot, not the river. two beds in one room with a tv and in the other room there is a bed, tv, pull out single size sofa bed, fridge and coffee... more

We paid $135CAD a night and were really happy with the room - not modern but nicely done and very clean. View over the river was beautiful, especially with so much snow and ice everywhere. Location is brilliant which is why we booked it, 5 min walk to main street, bus, train etc. The buffett breakfast included in our price... more

A Group of 11 of us stayed at the Bow View for 7 nights in January 2008. We got a great deal and expected very basic accommodation but we were pleasantly suprised !! The location is great with everything in walking distance and the bus stop for the 3 ski areas about 2 minutes walk. The Hotel was clean and... more

What a lovely hotel. We also were pleasantly surprised. It had obviously been recently renovated. Our room overlooked the river and had a sofa , fridge and small balcony. All the facilities (bar, restaurant, safe deposit boxes) were at the sister hotel next door. It was lovely to hear the plaintiff noise of the trains as they blew their horns... more

Was slightly concerned after reading some previous reviews but if you don't mind the slightly dated decor and have a balcony overlooking the Bow View River which was spectacular.i'm glad i chose this one. The accommodation was fine with a good sized room and waking up to a magnificent river view was an advantage that no other hotel had around.... more

We were somewhat apprehensive about staying here after reading some of the reviews, but were very pleasantly surprised to find it was actually very good. Our room was on the upper floor overlooking the Bow River and was peaceful and quiet. Parking was free and there was an excellent complimentary buffet breakfast at the sister lodge next door. The one... more

We were on a road trip to Vancouver. We stopped in Medicine Hat for one night, Hinton for another night. Toured Jasper, and stopped in for one night in Banff to do more sightseeing. The hotel is much older and cheaper than its sister hotel, the Banff Park Lodge. If you don't mind the maroon carpeting, blue curtains this hotel... more

Everything is pricey within the park, and since we wanted to stay within the park, this was one of the most reasonable places we could find. The room was small, though very clean and adequate. No air conditioning, though probably not needed most of the time here. The motel in general could use some maintenance. Parking is rather haphazard. Internet... more

Stayed overnight here for a meeting next door at the Banff Park Lodge. We were upgraded upon check-in to a two-room suite. Very spacious and clean - two room suite had one room with two double beds and a table with chairs. The other room had coffee maker & fridge in room with a sofa bed and queen sized bed... more
