I paid a total of 129.47 CAD with tax and 24h of pretty fast WIFI ($10) access for a room with king bed and balcony with a view of Mt. Rundle. No AC thermostat, but some cool air coming in from a duct. A fan is available but not required in June. You can use the pool/exercise room in the... more

Not a bad place, staff at check in were very friendly. The hotel itself is in a pretty good location, near the river. River view room was a little disappointing, corner room with not much of a view. King size bed was decent. Room over all wasn't bad and for the money would stay here again. more

We stayed at this hotel based on a relative's recommendation. It was wonderful. We got a really great rate of $85 (Canadian) for a King-sized bed and a river view. The room was very comfortable, with a sofa, an armchair, a table and chairs, and a fridge. The bed was extremely comfortable, and the pillows were high-quality. There was a... more

This is an older, clean and well maintained property that is next door to the larger Banff Park Lodge. The room we stayed in was super clean and bright, with a good sized balcony overlooking a treed park across the street. It is also across from the Banff Mineral Hospital. The location is quiet for the most part, with the sound of the train... more

We stayed here in December, for my birthday. We picked this hotel for a couple of reasons; because it was so close to Christmas, in an effort to save a few bucks, we chose NOT to stay at a more expensive place, and the location. I read a lot of reviews for this place and the good ones say it... more

We had a king room with a view of bow river, the view was lovely, the room was clean, if a little dated. Your money could be spent better elsewhere in Banff, but also could be spent a lot worse. It was an average hotel in a great location. more

We stayed at the Bow View on August 16, 2008, one of the hottest weekends of the year. There was no air conditioning. Thoughtful staff had put a fan in the room, but, because it was so hot, we had to open the patio door all night. This wouldn't have been so bad, if the hotel wasn't near the train... more

We were a group of 6 that booked 3 riverview rooms here at about 175$/ night for 2 nights. Although the rate was expensive for a place like the Bow View Lodge, it was Canada Day weekend, and the place was full. Our rooms were quite spacious, with a small dining table and a two-seater sofa, along with a king... more

Basic but reasonable rooms with facilities and breakfast in neighbouring hotel. These were of very good quality, so booking this hotel is a great way to get decent facilities on a budget. Walk through to pool and breakfast room is through underground car park, but well worth the effort. Also well located for the rest of Banff town centre. more
