Banff Voyageur Inn seems to be a place fairly appreciated by the tourist coaches because troops of tourists, especially Chinese origin, land there. Nevertheless this world, the employee in the reception is very effective and the check-in is quickly made. The room is comfortable but little air circulates there in this summer hot evening. An air conditioner would be very... More

I really do not understand how in a beautiful place like Banff, Alberta, it is possible that a hotel like Banff Voyager Inn is permitted to be in business. Our room was "dirty". It had not been vacuumed and the bathroom was unclean. Sorry to be crude, but the remnants of someone's sneeze was on the bathroom wall. I want... More

We stayed here five years ago and both stays have been the same . It is a budget motel where everything is expensive in town . Reading other reviews , we were very lucky the temperature in Banff had cooled off a little . I agree it would be unbearable if outside temps are above 20c . There is no... More

Old and Dirty! Disgusting! I was there because my husband company was paying the night, but the place is terrible I would never waist my money there. I was afraid to bring home bugs! Ewwww! All night scratching.

Thank you for being able to expose this hotel for what it is. A concrete bunker. Rooms dirty, no air conditioning, no air circulation. The breakfast included was awful. One two slice toaster for 100's of people. Old and run down. I do not recommend. There is no cell service in area of the hotel.

We have been traveling a great deal internationally and most recently in Canada. This is the worst hotel we have stayed at yet. The personal rudeness of the check in staff and manager tops it all. Kept us waiting for hours even though rooms were ready. Other comments about the place being tacky are also true. I strongly recommend against... More

We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights recently and it wasn't as bad as some of the reviews posted. Sure it's older but it was clean, comfortable and the room was HUGE! I liked having a balcony to enjoy the view and we were disappointed that we didn't get to enjoy the outdoor pool because of the weather. It... More

We've stayed here twice now over the course of a few years and never had any problems. Rooms are clean and location is convenient. It isn't fancy but it's a great place to stop for the night. We booked online and paid around $125 for a double room including taxes - that's a budget hotel in Banff. All in all,... More

This hotel is one of the worst hotels I've stayed at in years. If had some weird relationship with the hotel next door but was very confusing who you were dealing with. Rooms were smelly and cramped. No wifi which is reasonably important when you are an international traveller. I don't recommend this hotel at all. It's not even good... More
