We recently stayed here for three nights and I knew before going that it was an older hotel, you can tell just from the architecture. I didn't even bother to read the reviews. Anyways, we arrived and checked in, the front desk was courteous and professional. This was a winter (december) stay, so it was fairly cold outside and snowy.... More

We paid air conditioner rates, and called at 10:30 p.m. to the desk to ask how we were suppose to sleep in this heat. I had the patio door open with curtains pulled back for hours. The evening was cool but no air was coming in. The bathroom fan didn't work even. Someone came up and looked and we were... More

We stayed 3 nights and had excellent service from all the staff we dealt with. Our room was clean, nice and large with a king bed. We overlooked the side street which meant it was quieter. They have undercover parking but beware if it rains as the dips & puddles are massive and you may need wellies to get to... More

We booked our reservation by calling the front desk to spend a night during thanksgiving weekend, and due to it being the long weekend this was the only hotel room left in Banff. The agent that made the reservation was great. We had booked a room with 2 beds, due to there being 3 of us staying at the property.... More

Do not have high expectations. This hotel should be retired. Lots of bus tours stay here so very noisy both night and early morning. Breakfast was included but was nothing fancy. Staff was pleasant but limited availability.

This is a nice budget hotel for people looking to save a little money. The room is no frills, no frig or micro in the room but does have a coffee pot. The room and hotel are old and in need of repair/reno but the room was clean. Staff were friendly and helpful (thank-you Lisa!). There is a nice free... More

Our stay at the Banff Voyager Inn was not a pleasant one. The beds were very uncomfortable. It felt like we were sleeping in springs. It was noisy all night both nights. The noise was from the parking area for the hotel and from the sidewalk and street. Our room was clean but the rest of the hotel was dirty... More

Banff Voyageur Inn seems to be a place fairly appreciated by the tourist coaches because troops of tourists, especially Chinese origin, land there. Nevertheless this world, the employee in the reception is very effective and the check-in is quickly made. The room is comfortable but little air circulates there in this summer hot evening. An air conditioner would be very... More

I really do not understand how in a beautiful place like Banff, Alberta, it is possible that a hotel like Banff Voyager Inn is permitted to be in business. Our room was "dirty". It had not been vacuumed and the bathroom was unclean. Sorry to be crude, but the remnants of someone's sneeze was on the bathroom wall. I want... More

We stayed here five years ago and both stays have been the same . It is a budget motel where everything is expensive in town . Reading other reviews , we were very lucky the temperature in Banff had cooled off a little . I agree it would be unbearable if outside temps are above 20c . There is no... More
