We stayed in August. Booked on Hotwire. On arrival we were upgraded to a 2 level suite with fireplace, 2 bathrooms and small kithcen with fridge but no stove. This was located across the street from the main building. It was very clean and staff very friendly. Not in the downtown of Banff but the shuttle was great to have.... More

I have stayed at the RMR numerous times over the years and still like the property, but it is truly showing its age. Some of the rooms have been refurbished over the years but there are many left to do and the old ones really do need it. The grounds are in poor condition and the sidewalks are getting dangerous,... Planned on camping this summer but with the cool weather and rain, found the great resort a warm retreat. This is our 3rd stay here and again enjoyed ourselves. Nice pet friendly resort just away from the noise of downtown Banff. More

This was the worst hotel experience ever. The place is over run with rodent holes all around the buildings. Our unit had obviously had some kind of fire damage and had been renovated to some degree. The lounge area did have a fireplace but I would never sit on the couch. The kitchen was well equipped if you wanted to... More

Thank you for your TripAdvisor review. We will contacy you personally to discuss your observations which cause us some concern. We can't help but mention that the 'rodents' you refer to are Columbian Ground Squirrels which are abundant in Banff National Park and are therefore protected as is all wildlife in the park. More

We bought a weekend here through some sort of coupon site (can't remember if it was Groupon, Living Social, but one of those types of sites). The coupon was for a studio setup but we ended up getting a two floor huge room with two bedrooms and two bathrooms. It was immaculate in the rooms, just gorgeous. The pool was... More

Away from the shops in downtown Banff (which is good staying with three girls). Relative compact, but kitchen and bathrooms worked well. Pull out sofa came with a feather mattress that made it tolerable. Internet access was free, but too slow. They claimed that it was recently upgraded! We had this via Timeshare, and it was excellent value for the... More

Very comfortable room with queen bed, sofa, wifi, fully equipped kitchen. We especially enjoyed being out of the "down town traffic" nightmare of the area. Is conveniently located off Trans Canada Highway so you don't have that traffic. We sat by the forest area adjacent to the property and saw robins, woodpeckers and wildlife. Great location and clean, comfortable property. More

The single best hotel experience I have had. For the rate paid, facilities were amazing. The staff were even better!! Helpful, knowledgeable, always willing to do the extra little bit. More

We stayed at this hotel on a weekend trip to Alberta. I booked the hotel online and was nicely surprised after arriving there. The hotel offers good price/value and the staff is helpful and friendly. The hotel is located outside Banff, so the place is quite and relaxing. We got a standard suite, which size was OK and had a... More

Stayed en route to Jasper and got a free upgrade to a Queen Suite so this review is slightly skewed. Nice large room, queen bed, sofa bed, fridge, free wi-fi, good customer service. Downside - slightly dated and a couple of miles from Banff itself (although an hourly shuttle service is provided). More
