Stayed here for just 1 night on our Canadian Rockies Tour. Room was a fair size but bathroom was tiny. Bed very comfortable but room very hot. Free Wifi. Breakfast was a bit basic but adequate. Great downtown location, just a short stroll to shops/restaurants and bars and Safeway just around the corner. More

I stayed at this hotel for three nights in early May and, as bang for the buck goes, the Banff Ptarmigan Inn certainly has it in spades. Competitive rates, fantastic staff, great location (steps from "downtown"), clean, comfortable accomodations and the added bonuses of free parking and Wi-Fi! Stayed in Banff Ptarmigan Inn in April 2012. Nicely appointed and clean standard (2 Queens) rooms. Friendly, very nice staff. Free underground parking and wi-fi.
