Our room - 112 - was motel quality. The decor was 1990's and the furniture was Ikea-esque. Due to the location of this motel, there are no real views - all too many rooms face car parks. Low ceilings, little light and very tired. We came from Calgary for a break but just craved the comforts of home! No fridge,... More

It's a fine place for the price you are paying, especially in a national park. Our room faced the outside, but there was construction going on. We stayed over the weekend, and they started construction on the Saturday morning at 7:30 am. Luckily we were up already so it didn't affect us. The location is the key to the stay.... More

No better value on Banff Ave. Clean, friendly and excellent breakfast buffet included! One minute walk to everything. The hot tubs are great and the included underground parking is a great feature. You can also group your ski lift tickets and transportation into your stay at a discounted price. Wins all around!

In short: Good place where you can expect no surprises. Strong points: 1. Acceptable to pretty good rooms. 2. Spa is ok 3. Parking, internet, breakfast are included. 4. Very good location. Altough on Banff avenu, it is just outside the noisy places. 5. Just beside the grocery store. (70m max) Bad points: 1. No gyms 2. No pool 3.... More

We stayed in a "premium room" Hotel initial seems ok for the price. Our room 244 was baking hot when we arrived. We turned the heat completely off to find the baseline but it remained hot indicating a problem in their heating/airflow. It was so hot we had to leave the balcony door open the whole stay. This would be... More

I've stayed here a few times during the winter and it's a nice hotel. It's nothing fancy, but rooms are clean and have everything you need. The buffet breakfast that's included is very good. The prices double or even triple in the summer which I find a bit ridiculous considering these are basic rooms.

Great place for the price. Stayed here on a random at a moments notice trip. Room was good. Wish the room had a fridge and microwave but wasn't the be all and end all. The sauna had some black marks in the grout but still excellent value for the price. Would stay here again. Great location tondownton

Rooms are spacious and hotel is reasonable for Banff. However, it just feels "dirty". Carpeting in the rooms is filthy (look at the bottom of your socks), bathroom was somewhat disgusting and overall, just doesn't give you that clean feeling. We upgraded to a premier room. Overall, I can live with the "dated" look of the rooms, etc., but the... More

This hotel was fine for a larger family group, easy on the budget, and included some amenities like the hot tub room that would not necessarily be included at that price. People considering this hotel should be well aware there is no AC, and the windows do not have bug screens. As well, the breadfast was good in terms of... More

We chose eat at a restaurant that is in this hotel. While having dinner, my husband and I decided check out the hotel. The staff were friendly and everything was clean. Our room was nice, and the bed was comfortable, but no view. We had to park in the rear lot because the truck was to large for the underground... More
