Booked this hotel instead of our usual because they were renovating and didn't have their whirl pool open. We'll they didn't tell us when we booked but this hotels whirl pool was closed too! It was more expensive and isn't any nicer. more

Great location. Far enough from the refreshing project on Banff Ave to not be affected in anyway. Limited underground parking. But hotel was full so parking wasn't a problem. Our entire experience at the Banff Ptarmigan Inn was flawless. Starting with the very courteous, friendly and helpful front desk and housekeeping staff, right on to the premium double room where we stayed. No A/C, however during our stay we didn't need it.
