Absolutely stunning views you won't find in any campground in the rockies, unless you're a backpacker. Highly recommend the walk-in tent sites, they all have lake views and some of the sites are right by the water and breathtaking. Close enough to Banff townsite that you can take a break from roughing it as needed with a short drive. Be... More

It is localized directly by the lake with great views and it's own spirit which can't be overestimated. The staff is helpful and kind. Not to make all things perfect I will say that the showers are a black side of the story. The wood for fireplace (more than 8 CAD/day) was wet. But still it is excellent place to... More

Love this beautiful Lake spot in Banff National Park-Reserve early as it filled up quick!!Great for SUP Boarding-canoeing and kayaking. Some lovely day hikes and many are family friendly!I have been lucky to live about an hour away for many years used to bring my children here-still one of favourite spots!

This was a great place to camp. We stopped here for one night. We were right near the lake and it was quiet. One of my favorite camping sites in Banff or Jasper. We only stayed one night as it woke up to about 7 inches of snow the next morning. Much smaller campground.

We also stayed at Whistler’s in Jasper and Takkakaw Falls in Yoho. There are also lodges available for those who do not want to setup a full camp. We only stayed for one night, but were able to do the small walk around the lake and freshen up in the bathrooms (they have nice showers with warm water). I would... More

We enjoyed 3 fantastic nights in an otentik right beside the lake. This was camping in style, with comfortable mattresses, lighting and heating. The facilities were pretty clean for a camp-site however there's always that one person who walks mud into the shower rooms! Firewood was included so we spent the evenings enjoying a few local brewed beers beside the... More

We stayed 3 nights so we could splurge on our other nights in Banff and surrounding areas. We were on the water (#28 )which provided an amazing view. It was a little loud at night and you are very close to other campers. We spent most of the day out and about so only was around after 5:00 to eat... More

We had a fantastic stay at this campground. The sites were great, the lake is gorgeous, there was free firewood, the bathrooms were clean, the hiking trails were great, and it was only about 10 minutes to Banff. The park interpreter was perky and fun. It's no surprise that this is one of the mot popular campgrounds in Banff. The... More

The campsite was nicely situated on the lake. However there wasn't any power and the price was steep. Mandatory fire fees, they provide wood which was nice. We went on a long weekend and no booze was allowed on the campsite, they should re-think this rule.

One of the best places for family vacation. This camp site is located on the beautiful Two Jack Lake, just couple kilometers from Minnewanka Lake and 15 minutes away from Banff. You can find everything what you need at that camp site(free fire wood, shower with hot water, portable BBQ with 20lbs propane tank, electricity inside the oTentik).
