Lots and lots of trees. Short walk to the river. A short drive into town to see all the wonderful features of Banff. Really a well organised park. The booking process though is very difficult and cumbersome.

I always come back here whenever I get a spot available. It is by far my best campsite. Lots of trees and a nice view of the lake and mountains. The only downfall of this campsite is the parking of vehicle. Will need to go back and forth to load and unload stuff

I'm a newbie camper, and Two Jack Lakeside made it easy. Nice campsites with reasonable privacy. AND close to a lovely lake (which meant mosquitoes galore, but nice walking). Friendly staff and nice bathrooms and showers. We were in campsite 45, which was too close to the bathroom which meant bright lights on all night.

Campground was quiet, clean and excellent for family camping. We camp at the campsite #42 and the view was gorgeous, we had the lake in front of us.You could go from the campground to lake Minnewanka in car in about 5-8 min drive. nice and easy trails. Wash/bath rooms are clean. I have two kids 3 and 10 yrs old... More

This campsite is awesome. I highly highly suggest reserving sites 42, 44, 46 (all on the lake) OR if those are taken (which may likely be the case. When I went to reserve these sites, they were unavailable INSTANTLY. As soon as the reservation process online was available.) sites 45, 47 or 49 are great. These locations are all by... More

Went with another family, 3 kids from 5 to 10 and 4 adults. Great site! Kids loved it, lake was cold but ok, and amazing scenery. Kids loved it as did we. Not too crowded and we were there peak season when it was full.

Lovely not crowded lake. Highly recommend. Better lake and less crowded than Minnewonka and right next door. Take the short (5 min) drive to this lake and sit and soak in the peace and quiet. We thought this was a lovely, in town lake

Otentik is one of the best ideas that Parks Canada have come up with. What a fantastic way to enjoy camping without having to worry about setting up tent or inflate your mattresses. The Two Jack Lakeside one was fabulous. Yeah, yeah I get it, It's not really tenting and close to glamping. My sister and her husband visited from... More

We chose to stay in the Otentik this time around as we didn't want to cart all of our gear out west this trip. The Otentik is a canvas tent sent on a wooden platform with a porch and chairs. Inside there are bunkbeds and plenty of sleeping room. There is also a table and chairs inside and a heater.... More

We stayed in site 28 which was right next to the water. Definitely recommend this site - it is really amazing to be able to watch sunrise/sunset over a beautiful mountain right from your camping site. The bathroom facilities are very nice and air conditioned plus they have free hot showers. Lots of free firewood and also there was a... More
