Being from the UK and our first time camping in BC this was a really easy campground to find, we easily located our site (pitch) and were soon on the wine! There is a cheap bus service into town and we bought a day pass ($5 each) which we made good use of . Nice and peaceful at night. Would... More

Great location to enjoy mountain views or to get to town or the multitude of tourist spots in the area. Used to KOA RV parks in the states so miss not having wifi. However as a govt park it is nicer than Grand Tetons or those in Glacier Montana. Online booking was easy and ability to pick actual site was... More

We booked our site on line ahead of time and were not disappointed. You are able to view pictures of the sites and can choose your own that way. We picked one on the end that would have room for our kids to play in a treed area. We stayed for 3 nights and the restrooms and showers were always... More

My sister and her family were travelling back home to Winnipeg, from visiting some friends and getting engaged in BC, and we needed a place to park their trailer for a family and friends reunion. We booked this place 2 months earlier, and had paid for it in advance but there was some confusion regarding the campsites when we arrived... More

We thought this park was awesome! each row is elevated above the one below it, so you have great views of the trees and mountains. It is easy-in/easy out, and had plenty of room for our 37' pusher and tow. Too far to walk to town, but a very easy drive. We even saw a young moose in the road... More

The massively overrated RV park didn’t have Wi-Fi, the showers were cold, but clean overall; though the views were incredible. The spots are evenly spaced out, so you don’t hear your neighbours. The park is located in a coniferous forest. To me, Banff is really just like Whistler, with the typical drunk youth, just plus the Rocky Mountains.

First time RV-camping ever, What a surprise. Ugh spots. Showers and washrooms close by. The campground, that is what the reviews indicate, is close poximity of downtown Banff. This is not true. It is at least 30 - 40 minutes walk (down-/up hill). It is easy going and there is a short cut to the village.

I recently stayed on this campsite between 25th - 28th June and found it to be very average. The scenery surrounding the park is extremely impressive with spectacular mountains however the site itself comprises of RV pitches located on a tarmacked road, with vehicles being parked one after the other in a long line. It is literally like parking your... More

We really enjoyed out stay here. You just pull over to the side of the road in each section so easy in and out. They only have 30 amp hookups so must have your own water. They do have showers and bathhouse. Also had a dump station. The scenery was fabulous. Saw elk and deer walking around. For $8.80 extra... More

The campground is one of the most interesting yet unattractive I've ever seen. It has enough wood cover and views to be spectacular however it is laid out so poorly that it would require a start from scratch. Overall the facilities were clean. It was fairly expensive for a campground as you paid over $30 then had to pay for... More
