After a long drive we pulled into the Banff information centre to see what campsites had spaces. We were told our only hope was the Tunnels II campsite which was explained to us as an overflow site with no facilities. We set of to the site felling a little disappointed and not expecting more than space in a carpark. Well... More

The facilities were adequate - Warm showers, toilets, power sockets, etc. There was a liquor store and a laundrette close by, and Banff is only about a 30-40min walk away. However, if you would rather get a bus into town, there are many bus stops either in the campground or right next to it. The buses are cheap and run... More

We decided rather last minute to stay in Banff so there was no possibility of getting into the Tunnel Mountain Trailer Park which has full hookups. We took Village II because at least there is power. If you want to stay right in Banff and you don't plan on spending a lot of time there, because you will be off... More

This is a standard national park RV campground, with basic facilities, with only electric hook-up (water and sanitation are at a common location). The main attraction here is the amazing views and short drive into Banff Town. Bathrooms/toilets are well kept, and reasonable privacy between RVs.

We wanted to stay inside Banff National Park with our fifth-wheel, and there are relatively few choices. The Tunnel Mountain Trailer Court (with full hookups) was full, but we were able to make reservations for three nights at the Tunnel Mountain Village II Campground. Each site here has a 30-amp electrical connection, but no water or sewer (at the site).... More

We camped here for 2 nights in July. You park on the pavement next to a very small gravel pad. Most sites don't have firepits, but we had one. There are no trees between the sites, so you better have good neighbours. We had site C6 and I definitely recommend this site. It backs on to a hill so there... More

Stayed there for one night in village 2G. Felt like the campground was between a highway and a train track... with a train going by every 45 minutes. I also strongly disagree with how Park Canada rated their site privacy. We had an "intimate" site witch had litterally only 2 o 3 small trees between the neighboring site. On the... More

If your looking for a stop over with nearly all of the amenities this is perfect. World class views, great night sky. If Banff townsite is your huckleberry perfect. If your looking for a little old school camping then not really. This is a parking lot for RV's. That's the situation. Possibly the best parking lot in the world, Earth... More

Amazing site, we booked our pitch in advance definitely a good thing to do, much easier to check in and you can choose your own pitch. Well spaced pitches, whilst we were there Elk browsed around the rv's and a bear was spotted one tea time.. Not aggressive no problems ( everyone respects distance and clean sites). Mountain views all... More

We stayed here in early May in a rental RV so it was very quiet, easy to use and had all the facilities we needed. Showers were warm but flip flops definitely recommended! Liked the bus to and from town because the walk up the hill after a busy day is not much fun. No wifi but popped over to... More
