We have done a fair bit of camping around Alberta but had not stayed in Banff before so we decided to visit mid week. The campground was very quiet, especially during the day when everyone was out enjoyed the area. Even during the evening we found it quiet, but we were camping at a loop with no campfires. This options... More

The campsite was alright , and no you can't hope to find a better deal so close to Banff, But thirty dollars for a little gravel circle and a picnic table ? And that's not including having to buy a parks Canada pass just to stop your vehicle in or around Banff. I would strongly suggest driving further along the... More

This campsite was great. The facilities were well kept, the staff we're very friendly and helpful, and being in between 2 mountains there was a lot to look at too. Also, the hike down to Banff falls was one of the most memorable I've done. Also, we stayed in many campsites in Canada during our visit and the fire pits... More

It is big campground outside Banff, what makes the place quiet and nice (some things depend however on your neighborhood and other tourists). In my opinion, although the local facilities are not brand new, still they are kept in a good condition comparing to other campings in Rocky Mountains and this should be noticed.

Another huge campground that was noisy and close to a road. The sites were very close together and close to a road. Two Jack campground was full so we didn't have a choice. It was raining and no view as the clouds were low.

I have to say, this was by far the best campground on our trip through Canada. We loved the big spacious sites and the clean and well laid out bathrooms. We booked a site on the outside of the loop to have some green space behind us and less neighbors. It hit the right spot for us, since we only... More

We arrived at the campground late but found it easily. The staff was friendly and helpful and we had a good nights sleep. The bathrooms were conveniently located and there wasn't too much of a line up for the showers.

I really enjoyed staying at this campground. The staff was very friendly. The site we had was quite private and peaceful. We paid to have a fire and the wood was free and they had a large pile to take from. The view from the campground is beautiful and there are trails to walk in the campground and close by.... More
