Nice site, basic but clean. No bus service to Banff so leave from Village 2 bus station if you'd like to travel downtown. Elk EVERYWHERE, unfortunately no wolves or bears or cool animals. Firewood was plentiful and bathrooms are very new. Couldn't drive our tent spikes into the ground as the tent pad must have been laid over an existing... More

I tented here with friends for the weekend of the Banff Marathon. Spectacular views of the mountain! Good size spot, free firewood, clean bathrooms with flush toilets and HOT showers. There is a dishwashing station at the restroom as well for cleaning up after meals. Minutes drive into Banff. Will definately stay here again! Stayed at G59, perfect tenting spot... More

Can't really ask more of a campground. Hot showers, washing up area, clean bathrooms, spaced out tent sites. Plus really friendly staff and a great view of mt rundel from our site A43. Just a note when they ask at registration if you want a fire they mean do u want to buy a fire permit for 8.80 a day.... More

It's a parking lot. You are so close to your neighbour you feel like your in the Truman show, just living out your day with people staring and evesdropping on your conversation. I've had more privacy at a Walmart parking lot than this place. Pros- the staff is great!!!!!

We were here aug long weekend and found everything to be in top shape. Shower and washroom facilities were clean and regularly maintained. Park rangers regularly monitor and drive by to ensure park rules are followed and to also keep an eye for wildlife. We had a herd of elk roam around the campsite peacefully. Can't wait to go back!

Stayed 2 nights over may long, full campsite with heated bathrooms, showers, hot & cold water tap, & food lockers. Lots of wildlife, make sure you wake up early as that's when they are most active. 7am had a cub grizzly come walking through the camp escorted by 2 police officers lol

We stayed here in our campervan for a few nights last year. There are 100's of sites and we had no issues getting a pitch. The facilities were clean, the staff were helpful and there was a bus into town. To top it off, we had a great view of tunnel mountain.

This campground has hundreds of sites, so privacy is hard to come by. We stayed in the C loop a couple of times with positive outcome. Site C47 was extra large and somewhat private as it backed onto forest. Great for a group of friends and a couple of tents. C52 was small and had amazing mountain views; backed onto... More

We have done a fair bit of camping around Alberta but had not stayed in Banff before so we decided to visit mid week. The campground was very quiet, especially during the day when everyone was out enjoyed the area. Even during the evening we found it quiet, but we were camping at a loop with no campfires. This options... More

The campsite was alright , and no you can't hope to find a better deal so close to Banff, But thirty dollars for a little gravel circle and a picnic table ? And that's not including having to buy a parks Canada pass just to stop your vehicle in or around Banff. I would strongly suggest driving further along the... More
