Tunnel mountain village 1, village 2 and the trailer park is a great campground site which accommodates pretty much every one.The sites include full service sites in the trailer park , tenting sites, both walk in and drive in, sites with or without fire pits for tents and trailers. If you book a site with a fire pit , you pay... Reserved an outer plot for two nights after reading a review on here and I was not disappointed! Amazing scenery, ample toilets and showers which were clean enough! Seen quite a few deer (at least that's what I think they were) walking through the site. The only downside was there is a train track close by and extremely long trains... More

If you are able to request a site, be sure to ask for an outer ring spot, facing the woods, which are down the hill and across the street. When we woke up in the morning and stood in the campsite, we could see Mt. Randle on one side and mountain peaks when we turned the other way. Beautiful and... More

My husband and I stayed here for three nights this summer! It was so peaceful and relaxing. The campsite was spacious and clean. The bathrooms and showers where very clean. Lots of trees and good views of the mountains. There are many things to do within a short distance. The park theater put on an excellent show one night. We... More

We had a very nice experience in this campground. It's a few kilometres out of town, just opposite the Hoodoo's parking. You can visit the Hoodoo's by walking out of the campground. The place is huge, but you still get a lot of privacy. The bathrooms are really nice, have flushed toilets and pretty warm showers. The reception staff is... More

Stayed here as part of a Trek America tour in August 2013. The views were great, woke up to the view of Mt. Rundle. Picnic benches and fire pits on each pitch. The bathrooms weren't too far away however they were gross. Supposedly they were cleaned but the same pile of hair and a band-aid was still in the bottom... More

Spotless restrooms, huge site, free firewood, huge private site, extremely friendly and helpful staff, close to town... Not one negative. Loop D, space 43. This campground is where to stay if you want to be close to Banff. Coyote loped through the campground one morning

We stayed here for four nights in August. Positives: - the campsite was clean. - the campsite had a full-sized firepit (not one of the smaller, "let's save the planet, one tree at a time"-sized firepits that seem to be popping up in some campgrounds). - the campground was still and quiet by 10:30 or so each night. Negatives: -... More

First of all the washrooms were disgusting and were not cleaned the whole time we were there, 3 days. The showers are free but so disgusting I would have never gone in them. You can only run your generator for 1.5 hours; although a $300,000 motor home came in and ran their generators all night long. You are not allowed... More
