We have just returned from our Canadian vacation and our first top was the Buffalo Mountain Lodge in Banff. We booked a premier room with the king bathroom and we were not disappointed. We arrived on Christmas eve and stayed here for ten nights so really got to test the place out. The main lodge with reception was inviting and... More

Wonderful place to stay away from the hustle and bustle of Banff town. Ensure you book a premier room with luxury bathroom and ask for one the second floor to get the high pitch ceiling. Hot tub was never busy in the evening - a full day skiing followed by a hot tub alone was amazing. Water was very hot... More

The rooms were clean & comfortable & quiet. A nice place to stay, but very pricey in comparison to other accommodations in Banff.

My husband and I stayed here just before Christmas and really loved it. Being from Calgary, we are pretty familiar with what banff has to offer hotel wise, and so far this is one of our favorite places to stay. We stayed in one of the superior queen rooms (the one without the claw foot tub), and found the bathrooms... More

The whole of the holiday in Canada was wonderful and we stayed in some beautiful hotels and went through the National Park from Banff to Jasper and back and saw some of Vancouver. But to end the holiday in such a wonderful hotel where the staff were pleasant and in a good location and the size of the rooms and... More

Offering exceptional accommodation in a beautiful surroundings, our stay in this hotel rounded off a memorable trip to Canada. The hotel is quietly situated, away from the bustle of Banff, and we saw deer wandering through the grounds a couple of times. Staff were really helpful and friendly. Ample Canadian breakfasts were particularly appreciated by my family It is worth... More

My fiance and I just returned from a 3 night stay at this wonderful resort. We had originally booked at another lodge in the area but upon seeing the room, decided to move to the Buffalo. As soon as we stepped into the warm, beautifully decorated and inviting lobby (which the other place so didn't have!) we booked immediately. Courtney... More

Really personal service, location lacking, but great if you're after something away from the craziness of Banff Ave. Individual, huge rooms, great bathrooms.

Banff can get very crowded in peak season so I normally prefer to stay somewhere away from the centre and ideally higher up to get better views. Buffalo Mountain Lodge has the right location but also delivers excellent quality on top. We booked one of the Lodge Queen rooms rather than a separate cabin but it gave more than enough... More

Very impressed by the standard of accomodation - first class! We had room 1006 which was a large first floor cottage style chalet room, very spacious of an excellent cottagey boutique style and a place you did not want to leave. Take a picnic from town and eat on the verandah decking if you fancy a night in. We had... More
