We were in the elk cabin. We enjoyed our stay in the rustic heritage cabin. The owners were one of our highlights. Great homemade granola provided with milk. They made homemade cookies & lemonade for afternoon tea. Delightful homemade scones with jam. They were incredibly helpful & kind. Brilliant hospitality. Thank you for having us.

We stayed in the Fox Cabin for 3 days in one of the busiest weeks of the summer . We were lucky to find Beaver Cabins because I was having difficulties to find a place for 6 adults in Banff that wouldn't break the bank. As everyone has mentioned the location is great, just behind the main street where you... More

We loved our stay here and were delighted by the facilities and service. First of all, the location is great - a few steps away from the centre of town and with onsite parking. The cabin itself was lovely - we were a couple but stayed in 2 bedroomed cabin, so it was great having the extra space to unpack... More

We were here mid July 2015. I found this place online somehow (no clue how even) - and I must say - I booked the place by accident (don't ask). No regrets though. We were in both Jasper and Banff, stayed at 3 different places during our vacation, and this was our favorite. They have about 5 different cabins available... More

We stayed in the Elk cabin for an entire week and could not have wished for anything better. The place was perfect for two adults and two kids with all facilities necessary. Everything was clean and then there is the added bonus that the cabins are part of the history of the area. The whole atmosphere of Beaver Cabins was... More

We stayed here as a couple of four nights in June whilst touring the area. We stayed in Bear cabin which was very cosy, nicely decorated and comfortable. It was actually slightly bigger than we anticipated and suited us perfectly. The cabin had a small kitchen area which was just right for preparing basic meals, a good sized living area... More

We loved our few nights here with the ability to cook our own dinner using the BBQ, a separate bedroom for the kids, and being able to step out the front gate into the centre of Banff. The cabins are pretty quirky being very old but are well maintained and clean. Our kid's bedroom came off ours and the bathroom... More

... I found the breakfast to be disappointing. Buns and jam is great, but that was it. The room (Bear) we stayed at is clean and comfortable, although it can be better furnished. E.g., there is no hooks to hang clothes in the bathroom. Two thumbs up for the location and the hospitality of Laura/the host. Also great to have... More

Laura is very nice and welcoming host! There is every morning simple, but good breakfast with freshly baked bread ready. You can use the joined BBQ. It's fully equipped incl. herbs and spices, ketchup, mosterd etc. The cabins would definitely need some maintenance and renovation, but overall it's still OK. We had great stay and would definitely come back!

These historic cabins are conveniently located in a quiet street adjacent to the bustling shopping precinct, with rear access via a lane. In one direction you get all the services you require, in the other you get a stroll through pleasant residential streets, passing many historic homes and reaching the beautiful Bow River. Try the nearby Luxton Museum. The place... More
