Clean, newer accomodations perfect for travelling with another couple. There are only two rooms in the B and B, and they share a common area with kitchen/eating/lounge area in common. Susan (owner) is delightful and interesting, and her breakfasts are superb. Great location right in town...you can walk to dinner. We were delighted with our stay there! more

We enjoyed our stay here, the location is very central to Banff but equally accessible to all the major routes for exploring the area. The fact we had a separate entrance and access to the communual breakfast room was a bonus. The breakfasts were excellent. more

Beautiful home, with great setup especially if you are traveling with another couple or family. The rooms and living area are new, clean and well furnished. The guest rooms are a separate wing of the home, with their own entrance, so there is lots of privacy. Our host, Susan, was so friendly and helpful- we felt like we were visiting... more

The Bed and Breakfast met all of our expectations and was very conviently located just a block away from the main areas of Banff. Outside of Banff being a lovely place to visit, Susan was warm and friendly but not at all overbearing or intrusive. The breakfasts were very nice. I could suspect that some people would have expectations of... more

I echo everyone else's reviews of this B&B - it is lovely. We stayed with Susan for a total of three nights on our visit to the Rockies. We were very pleased with our room (Larch), the en-suite, the kitchen facilities. Bed was very comfortable, breakfast perfect (especially the pancakes!). Susan makes a great and knowledgeable host. Thanks Susan for... more

The Poplar Inn is readily accessible from the highway but is, thankfully, away from the center of town. Quiet location, with tastefully decorated rooms (numbering only two). the guest rooms have a separate entrance, so you can come and go as you please. Susan makes terrific breakfasts (different each day) and is very gracious. A two day stay wasn't enough,... more

This is a beautiful guest house. Everything was immaculate and the room was a good size with doors leading onto a patio overlooking beautiful gardens. The location is also very good just a short walk into centre, but nice and quiet set in residential area. Susan was very friendly and served a lovely breakfast. We enjoyed our stay here. more

This is a lovely bed and breakfast. The home is new, spotless, tastefully furnished, with separate private quarters and common room, with frig and micro wave, for guests. Sliding glass doors to individual decks. Beautiful views, garden, screened summer house. Quiet location, 2 minute walk to center city. Susan was a very friendly, down-to-earth hostess who prepared wonderful gourmet breakfasts... more
