Stopped at the cafeteria and it was horrible. Service was so slow, no soup or chilli in the 8 pots they had. Nothing was filled up. Talked to some people from a bus tour they were from Germany and I must say we were embarrased to admit this is something we serve in Canada. They had nothing and when we... More

We didn't stay at the hotel but we did take lunch at the cafeteria. I would recommend you pack a lunch or be prepared to spend almost $50 for two people. I understand it's more or less in the middle of nowhere and this might be the only option but it's a bit too much for that reason.

This is probably the only stop you'll find between Lake Louise and Jasper. While its address says Lake Louise, it's actually quite far from it as Icefield Parkways is a long stretch. We stopes over for some food on our way from Banff to Jasper. Some of us ordered the burger, salmon burger and fish and chips. For cafeteria food,... More

Looking for an overnight stop on your way to Jasper, then this is a good option.... actually in late April when we stayed it was almost the only option past Lake Louise. Yes the room was small & dated, yes it wasn't that cheap, but nevertheless we enjoyed the night and it served it's purpose well. Facilities were clean and... More

We stayed here overnight on the way to Jasper. The rooms are very dated, very small and yes overpriced. This property probably has THE most awesome location in the world but they really don't make the most of it. What we did enjoy was the hospitality at the restaurant, all be it VERY expensive. Rocky Mountain House is just 2... More

Although the address is 'Lake Louise' it is actually 77 km (48 miles) from the village and is one of the few food stops along the Icefields Parkway. Situated at the Saskatchewan River Crossing. Accommodation, cafe, and gift shop. Good parking, even for RVs. It's average but gets so many visitors as it's probably the only food stop for 130... More

We stayed for three nights in this hotel because we were there with a group and thus had no other options. First, the room. Very old style, charmless, uncomfortable bed and the worst was finding fresh dried blood on the comforter. Second, the food was very expensive - a hot dog, a small cup of potato salad, two chocolate chip... More

This was not my first stay at the Crossing Resort, which is just as well as If I had not had prior experience I would have been put off by the really bad reviews here. I can only imagine that the people suggesting that you just keep driving miss read the word Motel for Fairmount. I agree that for what... More

We stayed 2 nights so that we could take our time on the glaciers and do some high-level walking. The room was basic and clean - nothing more. The reception staff were indifferent. Previous reviews about the food also applied in our case. The dining room was closed, but we still paid 'high season' rates for the room. We were... More
