The Icefield Center has a fabulous location and the views of the glaciers and icefield from our room were terrific. The staff was pleasant and helpful. We stayed one night at the chalet to help break up the long drive from Lake Louise to Jasper. Our expectations were low. Enormous room, with high ceiling, queen bed, sofa, two armchairs, and stairs leading to a loft with two single beds. Lovely bathroom with good-quality toiletries. We stayed at the icefield chalet for 2 nights. It was a great central location between Banff and Jasper. We had a beautiful view of the glacier and were able to get an early start on the icefield tour that morning before the crowds arrived.
