A nice little hidden gem close to Edmonton. Nice big camp sites and a great big load of firewood for $20. Friendly people, great place to camp out for a few days if you're in the area. I highly recommend it. Oh, only a 4... the roads were very rough - but management says repairs are in the works.

Park is full of seasonal workers. The place is not private, no trees. Amenities are costly and not worth the money. Way too expensive for what you get. Stay away from this place. Wish I would have read the reviews first. No dumping station. Store items are way overpriced. The place is all tore up and nothing is kept up.... More

After staying at Half Moon "resort" now for over two months, I need to say my piece. I only hope people are smarter than we were and check these reviews before they come. This could be a beautiful place, if someone who actually cared about more than making money ran it. It has great potential, but with Jack running it,... More

We should have read the reviews before going to this ridiculous white trash dump. Everything there is unsanitary and over priced. We found a "first come first served' site for camping and it was full of garbage, like all the other sites. The place is run down and simply gross. No shower, disgusting washrooms. Garbage everywhere. Staff is straight out... More

This campground was ran by very friendly and helpful staff. There are many different sites to choose from, some are private and some are open. It's nice to have a store right on the campground, and there's lots of nice walking trails. The lake has Sea grass but there is lots of water activities, such as paddle boats, canoeing and... More

10$ an adult for a slab of rock which was advertised as a beach, which had foamy algae water. The washrooms were broken, for who knows how long, because of a caved in roof. The next washrooms were a 10 minute walk away. The grounds were over run with plantlife. We managed to find a nice area to play ball but... More

Half Moon Lake is being renovated to become a fantastic resort for all ages. We appreciate the amenities here (local store, restraunt soon, pub with live bands to bring the resort Community and Area together, mini golf soon), beach with great swimming (for an Alberta lake), fishing boat rentals, bike and paddle boat rentals... Should you have a day free... More
