Dried out scalloped potatoes, complemented by soggy, wilted over steamed vegetables. Cold cabbage rolls. Bison (allegedly) that was the consistency of shoe leather, no horseradish in the bowl, which matched the empty mustard bowl. Salt in the shaker at the table was one solid block, not a single grain need fear escaping. Shrimp that were still swimming in water, making... More

I have heard on more than one occasion that the sunday brunch at the Nakota Lodge is excellent, I had never been before and heard the grounds and view of the mountains was spectular, so I was looking forward to seeing everything. I will say the view and the surrounding areas (lake, trees & mountains) ARE stunning, but that's about... More

Horrible expeirance !!!!!! Who ever was the manager in charge for this event did not know what they were doing. We were told by Mgr/Chef that they had 800 reserved spots booked, But that they also let in 400 walk in customers. They ran out of food before the 2nd sitting of reserved tables had eaten! They also advised they... More

My wife and i have had brunch here in the past and it was fairly good. We decided to go back on mothers day. We waited an hour to get our reserved table to find out that all the breakfast items were gone. We ate dessert instead. Some items that were available were burnt. Went to the washroom after the... We were coming from the Banff area to Calgary when a big snow storm started. We saw the hotel and decided to stop for the night. The room was clean, the beds were comfy, and we the breakfast(buffet style) was ok.

What a beautiful property! I wasn't expecting the views to be so amazing. We had originally planned to stay at the Casino, but ended up here and I could not have been happier. It's not far off the highway, and so worth it. Front desk was friendly and helpful, our room was nice, renovated, super clean and had a flat... More

The hotel is set in the most peaceful setting ever. I couldn't fault it in any way. It was clean & well decorated. I had wanted to visit since the 90's when my mum & dad first visited. It was above my expectations. I loved the First nation art work. Yes, the hotel is out of the way but that's... More

How would you like it, if on your very special day, whether it is for yourself, or for a beloved child of yours, your Maid of Honor makes the first toast, only to find that the Champagne flutes that were supposed to be already filled, before your Grand Entrance, was completely empty? And the toast turns out to be an... More

For the price I expected great service and a very nice room in a lodge in the mountains. I was sorely disappointed. In fairness to the frazzled desk clerk, it could have all been due to the wedding that took place on the grounds the day we arrived, but I did not appreciate being pushed off to the side...with my...
