I had a brief stay at Witch Hazel last month. Peter and Eileen are both very friendly and helpful. The room was very spacious, modern and VERY clean. The breakfast was delicious. Highly recommended.

I wanted to stay overnight to attend a friends birthday party in nearby Wymondham. I found Witch Hazel on the internet & used trip advisor reviews. The reviews were spot on, as this B&B is just perfect. Eileen and Peter are excellent hosts, friendly, calm and professional. My pot of tea and hot buttered scone on arrival was very welcoming. My... What more can one add to the great reviews already posted.Everything is true. Certainly the best B&B we have stayed in(U.K.) Eileen and Peter are such warm, welcoming hosts. We were in the big room overlooking the horses in the paddock. The room was spotlessly clean with a beautiful en-suite and all the little extras you could wish for. Breakfast was... More

What more can we say than has already been said about Eileen and Peter. Witch Hazel is run efficiently with the kind of attention to detail that one hopes to find in an expensive hotel but somehow rarely does! We stayed at Witch Hazel for four nights - every breakfast was top quality and we enjoyed a delicious dinner. The... More

The breakfast was generous and included fruit and vegetables from the large and beautiful garden, and included home made jams. Guest have access to the back gardens and there are two horses in the paddock at the front of the house, and from there to the... More

Booked this at quite last minute, as we were due to move house but got delayed. From the very first phone call they were kind and welcoming. This was the nicest B&B I have ever stayed in and far nicer than a lot of hotels I have stayed in. The rooms were big and spotless and with gorgeous toiletries and... More

We stayed here for one night but it was a real surprise in that we were made very welcome by Eileen and Peter and the accomodation was definitely 1st Class. SPOTLESS! The breakfast was perfect and you even had a choice of eggs etc very professional, well presented and everything was hot straight from the kitchen. Thoroughly recommend this B&B... More

After having stayed in overpriced, average accommodation on our 1st night in Wymondham, we decided to check out other options for the rest of our stay. 'Witch Hazel' was our choice and wished we had discovered this beautiful B&B at the start of our visit to the area. The 'Poppy' room was immaculate in every way with everything one could... More

I was made to feel very welcome by Eileen and Peter during my 3 night stay. The bedroom and en-suite were absolutely spotless. The choice, portions and quality of the breakfast far exceeded anywhere else i have been. A most enjoyable stay ...........
