Spent 2 nights here. Great B and B. Very clean, very quite. Very friendly. Lovely hosts who dont bother you all the time. Breakfast is up there as one of the best. Overall this is one of the best B and Bs out there. Not bad.

We travelled up for a weekend with our 3 children. We selected Glebe End as they could accommodate all 5 of us together. Sheila and William made us very welcome, including our children who loved talking to them. They went out of their way to give us lots of information on the area and making our children feeling at home,... More

We have just returned from a 2 night stay and thought it was a wonderful find. It is nice and secluded and makes a peaceful stay. William and Sheila are really friendly and most helpful. It was an excellent breakfast each morning and we would highly recommend. The room is spotless and well maintained. We even left with some freshly... More

This is a very lovely B&B, and we highly recommend it. My husband stays with many hotels with his work, - mostly in so- called 5 star ones, and often they are not as welcoming and homely as this. It's spotlessly clean, has a comfortable bed,has a selection of home made cookies and a good selection of teas, coffees etc.... More

This is one of the best B&B experiences we had while visiting England last month. We stayed here for the last 2 days of a two week visit and it was a great place to finish off our trip. William and Sheila are proud of their village and very knowledgable of the local attractions. During breakfast William spent time with... More

We stayed at Glebe End for one night on our way back to Ireland from London as we wanted to take in a visit to Chatsworth. For a start it's one of the few places that takes 5 people in one room with lots of space to spare. The room and bathroom were spotless and the beds comfortable. Sheila and... More

I have stayed at Glebe End several times for work. It is the only b+b that i actually look forward to staying at (there have been many over the years), generally preferring my own home. It is guaranteed to be scrupulously clean, is perfectly quiet and i always feel completely safe. Sheila always welcomes you with delicious homemade biscuits and... More

Well, what can I say about this little corner of greatness tucked out of the way, I dont think this box is big enough. This B&B is down the end of a residential street, tucked nicely out of the way and with unobstructed views to the surrounding countryside. Sheila and William make you so welcome and honestly you feel like... More
