Staff were lovely and nothing was too much trouble. The room we stayed in was cosy and stunning. Luxury bedding, towels etc. did not have food there as we arrived late, but will definitely be going back as the food downstairs looked lovely and there was a nice atmosphere. Would definitely recommend.

Everything about The Boot screams excellence. The staff were absolutely fantastic, friendly attentive and nothing was too much trouble. We stayed for one night the rooms were exceptional the food was of the highest quality along with the service. The beer well what can I say brewed on site and absolutely great. We will be going again.

We visited the Boot on Boxing Day for lunch and I have to say that the standard is excellent - we couldn't fault the food, service or ambiance. We're back again on Saturday with friends and I can't wait!

Just finished our first ever Christmas dinner out as a family, spending it at the boot in Repton - a fantastic, stress free experience. Amazing food - every course was beautifully presented and tasted divine. Great friendly service from a happy, polite smiling team - these guys are amazing and make the whole experience brilliant. This will become a regular... More

Visited the Boot to check it out after its extensive refurbishment earlier this year, and wow what a change! The owners have really put a lot into it and the result is wonderful. Rooms are luxuriously furnished and all the little things have been thought about, nice touches here and there. All the rooms have fantastic character and combine contemporary... More

After reading several articles in the Derby Telegraph, my friend and I went to the Boot for lunch today. It was not very busy. I was surprised to overhear a returning visitor comment to a waitress that she hoped the service would be better than on her last visit. My friend had a sandwich and was very satisfied. I chose... The room was lovely and I would have rated this with 5 stars instead of 4 but for the damp/musty smell that was in the room. Apart from that the pub is cracking, the food is absolutely amazing and a great collection of home brewed beers! Would highly recommend.

Although quite small, the rooms are nice with very comfortable beds and just the facilities you need for a nice night's stay. the food in the restaurant is aiming at a higher level than your average pub and i thought it was very nice. It took a while for dinner, but if you were here with others that wouldn't be... More

This pub restaurant is a wonderful addition to it's sisters Harpers in Melbourne and The Dragon in Willington and has in my opinion a better menu and range of beers brewed on site. A definite competitor with other established very good food puns in the same village. Highly recommended

We travelled to the Midlands to visit some Friends and opted to stay at the Boot as it is their local. Im pleased to say we were not disappointed. The rooms are comfortable and well presented, staff were friendly and could not do enough for us. We ate with our friends who regularly eat here and enjoyed top class food... More
